We stayed at the other le blanc a couple of years ago and had a great experience other than the fact that while we waited for the car going back to the airport, after checking out they talked my husband to purchase a another stay at the property which was really no bargain! We ended up w a $2500 voucher which we didn’t use till it expired. But that was on us. At the Cancun property, they also tried but this time we knew better. About this propert, the wait staff, cleaning people etc. were amazing. The MANAGING staff not so much. The room we had, was very uncomfortable. Our friends who chose a less expensive room had a better space. Our bathroom was very small, the room set up was very awkward. Half the room was a step down with sharp corners that we had to be cautious not to fall down in the middle of the night. They had an upgrade which was offered to us at a higher rate, so there was definitely an upgrade available but when asked about it,they said no and the best they could do was to give us a cabana on the beach on a day that rained all day! They had great dinning options however, the nicer restaurants were booked so we ended up eating at their buffet most of the time. We’re not drinkers so definitely didn’t take advantage of the all you can drink. So I feel like the least they could’ve done for us was to honor the free upgrade for us to move us out of the more expensive but worst choice of a room. I would not be going back to this property any time soon.
