Relaxation all the way

Everything was amazing!! Beach, staff ect. Only downfall, the "1 1/2 hour" pitch for membership turned into 3 1/2 hours. Too long away from being able to do something else with our time. If you can, avoid it. Spend it doing what you want. Overall, an absolutely amazing time.

Excellent Hotel, Even Better Staff

Location: Great location on the beach!
We had an amazing time at Live Aqua. The food was fantastic, rooms had amazing views, and food was great. No complaints as everything was smooth and all the staff were super helpful.

Pros: they had a variety of restaurants. The crepe station was cool, the coffee on fire, live music, the midnight bar. Great staff! room service!
Cons: MB restaurant needs to get the food up to the quality of the rest of the resort.
Location: jungle tours. jungletourcancun.com, snorkling in the ocean was cool. Across the street from Live is the mall.
The 1st day there was a bit of a mixup. I reserved a king bed and only 2 queen bed rooms were available. ok so we had to switch the next day - not too bad. The 1st night we went to MB the fancy restaurant (must wear pants). I was disappointed the food was warm (not hot) and not very good. I was nervous that the rest of the trip would be lots of unappetizing food. The following day we switched rooms and tried a different place to eat. At breakfast the buffet was excellent and from that point on the different places to eat were all great! Everything was great from Hidden gardens amazing soups and food, the outdoor barbecue, shrimp tacos on the beach, the sushi was a must every night, smoothies in the morning, free starbucks - go into the gift store and get some! ask for the food menu when at the pool. each place has different lunch and dinner menus. so check out the places at different times. the staff is awesome! friendly and attentive. drinks all day. get the mixed coladas. mango tango, miami vice, mudslide... to name a few. what to not do: They do have a 90 minute vacation club presentation for some small discounts - skip it. one offer is a Tulum trip and stop at a very pricey jewelry store. Tulum is a small ruins site about 1.5 hours by cab. regularly few bucks to get in. not worth the 3+ hour drive. not worth taking the bus to cancun. its a 1 1/2 block of tourist traps. since its unlimited drinks at Live why bother?!? hope to go back soon!

Third Live Aqua Trip

Pros: The hotel is very clean. The sevice is excellent. LOVE the pools. LOVE the food.
Live Aqua is a wonderful resort. It is beautiful. Clean rooms. Very welcoming and friendly staff who work hard all day to make our stay the best it can be. Jonathan, pool manager and Aminal took great care of us by the pool every day. Food at the restaurants is excellent and the pools are breathtaking!!! We Love Live Aqua so much we just keep going back.

Gets better every time!!!

Pros: Excellent condition and the rooms are very nice. Had everything we needed.
Location: Located not too far from the airport, probably a 15 to 20 minute drive. There is a also a mall across the street with lots of nice stores.
This is the fourth time we have stayed at Live Aqua. The facilities, staff, food and environment is wonderful. It is also located across the street from a mall and other restaurants which is nice to get out and see everything. Lots of pools, hot tubs and plenty of beach chairs. Highly recommend!!!

Excellent staff and beautiful beaches!

Pros: The excellent staff!
Cons: I would add music (Live or recorded) at the pool. I also wish that the parrots weren't keep in such a small cage.
Location: We went on a Jungle Tours speed boat and snorkel adventure. We also walked around the mall and enjoyed ice cream.
My boyfriend and I were on a 5 night/6day vacation. They staff is very welcoming and accommodating. They told us our room was ready, however, the room they took us to had not been cleaned yet. They were quick to fix the mistake and took us to a room 4 doors down that was clean and ready. For an All-Inclusive, the drinks and food were good; we really enjoyed the Asian restaurant - Hidden Garden. The pools were beautiful, however, I thought the atmosphere was lacking because they do not play music at the pool. Some people may like the peace and quiet but I prefer music at a resort pool. The view and the beaches were gorgeous! The hotel is right across the street from the mall, many restaurants, and the aquarium. So there are many things to do within walking distance. Overall, we had a great stay.

We don't frequent the same resorts twice because we like to try new places but we will definitely be back to Live Aqua! The staff was superb, the food was fantastic, room service was great, wifi service was great, DVD players & huge TVs in every room, entertainment was great, great selection of drink & alcohol options for an all inclusive, the beach & pool areas were fantastic. Our best all inclusive experience by far & we travel a lot!

Live Aqua is absolutely spectacular. The food is some of the best in the world from my experience and the staff is second to none! We won't be going anywhere else except to Live Aqua when in Cancun!

Beautiful hotel with great ocean views

Pros: The atmosphere and design were great, quiet and romantic. The food was excellent (except for Azur) and the drinks were good too!
Cons: The service could be more consistent. Also, despite Mexico being LGBT friendly, Live Aqua was not at all. I felt like I spent my week being stared at.
Location: We went to Aquaworld and took a jungle speed boat tour and it was a blast. There is also great shopping across the road.
First things first...the good stuff: - Check in was nice! You are greeted with aromatherapy as soon as you enter the hotel and you get an iced tea while you go over details at the desk. Great way to kick off vacation. - Siete provided a really solid meal for breakfast, lunch and dinner and we were always happy with the meals. MB was great too, get the Habanero Soup (I promise it is not too spicy). - The spa was a total treat. Best massage of my life. Make sure you go early to take advantage of the spa which had me feeling like jello before the massage even started. -The cabanas were great! We were on a mid level and could see the ocean. Honestly the views were pretty great everywhere you went. Negative Comments: - My girlfriend and I paid for an upgraded King room with an ocean view but were told upon arrival we would be in a room with two double beds. We explained we were a couple and that we paid for the upgrade but we were told we could check in later in the week to see if something opened up. We checked a few times and got an attitude and were never accommodated. We found out from other guests that they had no problem upgrading at the hotel. -They ask if you want to sit in on a 90min seminar for their vacation club in exchange for a gift. It was 150 min and they would not take no for an answer. We left fuming. - Service was hit or miss. Either staff were going above and beyond or they were rude and slow. Once we waited over an hour for food before walking out.

Amazing and relaxing stat

Absolutely loved Live Aqua! Staff was super friendly, best customer service I've received in awhile! The restaurants were all amazing and had something for everyone. The grounds were pristine and my room was always cleaned promptly. The resort was generally very calming and quiet, no loud guests or music which I liked.
