First time there and had a wonderful time. Not a party hotel if that's what you are looking for. Very peaceful. Employees were very friendly and always helpful. We will probably be coming back here soon. My only complaint is that my bed was a little to hard for my liking.

Wonderful!

Pros: Everything!
Location: The location was right in the middle of cancun. There was shopping an restaurants in walking distance if you wanted to venture from the hotel.
This was one of the most wonderful trips we have ever taken. From the easy experience of booking with Expedia to the amazing facility and staff. We went for our 10 year anniversary and they surprised us with multiple gifts to make us feel special. The staff was all wonderful, the food was delicious and the relaxation was amazing! We can't say enough good things about Live Aqua!

Good experience

Hotel was beautiful - clean. Staff was friendly - service was hit or miss around pool or at the beach. Hot tub was a nice, but during evening water temperature was too cold and one of the days during the day, it was too hot to get in. Spa was great - had a massage. Breakfast buffet was amazing - crepe station and mojito cart were top notch. Food at MB was sub par. Overall a great place - would go back.

The best you can book in Cancun

Pros: Staff and installations
Cons: I have no idea
Location: The location is good as well, with the shopping mall right crossing the street.
The staff is excellent, and you can either rest, or get different kind of fun. The security is very good... I have not but good experiences from here...

Awesome resort!

Pros: Everything except the wait time for food.
Cons: The wait time for food at the restaurants.
Location: Awesome shopping right across the street.
The resort is beautiful and the staff ensure the grounds are kept clean. The wait staff the entire time was nice and quick with the turn around time for drinks.

We'll be back!

Location: It was very easy to take the bus into town.
Can't say enough good things about this place, food was great, staff very friendly. I will definitely be back and plan to stay longer than 3 nights. Make sure you take the time to really check out the different restaurants!! We really enjoyed the hidden garden and the Italian one. Breakfasts buffet at both restaurants we great, bloody mary bar could use olives and pickles, but that is a suggestion no a complaint.

Great pools and beach

Cons: Less Peppermint
Location: Large outdoor mall right across the street. Close to many restaurants and activities
Pretty quiet hotel. Adults only. Spring break week. Still really quiet. Great pools and beach. Great staff. We are picky eaters so no matter how many restaurants we never eat much while in Mexico, but most people enjoyed the food and choices. The hotel uses strong peppermint liquid pots to mask some of the bad odors. The peppermint is so strong at times it makes your eyes water. Overall, I would still give a high rating. We have been to Mexico 8 times now and always enjoy going back. Very friendly staff, clean rooms, large pools, awesome beach, and much much more.

This was our 2nd trip to Aqua. It was better the 2nd time than the first and that's hard to do bc the first trip absolutely blew our expectations out of the water. Service was excellent. The staff goes above and beyond to be helpful and cheerful. Valerie was so helpful and can take care of anything you need. She was always around and available. Alexis at the bar hit it off with my husband and he went out of his way to get a certain liquor that wasn't usually stocked. Juan, Animale, "Superman", Roosevelt and Guermo working in pool service were all fantastic. Jimena and Hugo in the aqua club are superb. You must get a massage! We've had loots of massages but none can compare to massage therapist Lady and Ellis. We went back for a second massage in the last day bc it was such a treat. The pool hut guys were so happy and helpful. Jorge is a sweetheart. He gave us some Spanish words to learn each day and would quiz us throughout the day. He jokingly renamed us "Quique and Lupita". Throughout the week I must have said "I love this place" at least 50 times.

Beautiful Resort

My wife and I had an awesome time. The staff was super friendly. We have absolutely no complaints about this beautiful resort. I have to give a shout out to Jose from the Ego Lounge. He always made sure that we were enjoying ourselves whenever we visited the lounge. Will definitely come back and visit.

Great All Inclusive Hotel

Cons: Get new pillows. Do something with the terrible odor of the pool level floor.
I have been to a couple of all inclusive hotels and never liked them because I always thought that the service and the quality was not there. This is not the case here. The service was impecable and the quality of the food was excellent. We only stayed one night so we only got to try a few of the restaurants and the food was spectacular. If you prefer quality over quantity, this is the place for you. The room had an incredible view of the ocean. It is very private, you can have your curtains open and still have complete privacy. The linens are great and so is the bathroom. The beach is amazing as well, that is why you go to Cancun to begin with. The only (2) negatives was that the Pool Level Floor had a horrible smell of mold/mildew mixed with air freshener / aromatherapy and the pillows were old and worn.
