Unforgettable vacation!

The total experience was awesome! The service from the staff was top notch! They were courteous, friendly, and prompt upon request. The food was amazing! My only complaint is that men have to wear long pants while dining at MB. No one packs long pants when vacationing in Cancun in late July. I hope that they revise this rule. We paid an upcharge for a beach front romantic dinner one night and it's worth every penny! The Beach and pool areas were absolutely beautiful and peaceful! There is a mall located across the street with highend retailers such as Gucci and LV all the way down to VS and Guess. If you're looking for nightlife and cheaper souvenirs, it's just a $1USD 5 minute bus ride to that area. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel and we look forward to returning again next year!

Wonderful beach vacation. We stayed the entire time on the property. Their staff was amazing. The beach and food were outstanding.

Awesome place for honeymoon

Pros: Staff was very friendly. Way nicer than any hotel staff i have ever had in USA. Bed was very comfortable, bathroom had romantic glass shower
Cons: Better door operators and door seals to eliminate noise in rooms.
Location: Very fancy mall accross the street with lots of shops, xcaret,xplor nd other place just 1 hour away
This place is very fancy but also very comfortble. We are 29 and 32 years old. We noticed that the average age of guests at the resort is probably around 45. Younger couple just cant afford the nicer places i guess. The resturaunts were amazing. The food was really great. The romantic dinner on the beach was a let down. We were there for over 2 hours and that was waiting on food. And finally the only reson this place didnt get 5 stars from me was because of how much noise you could hear from in the room. The room doors should have better operators on them. The doors are very heavy and the slam and are very lound. We heard doors closing all hours of the night. Additionally the cleaning crews were very thorough so you could hear them moving furniture around at all hours of the day and night. Other than the noice in the room this place was amazing.

Best resort in Cancun

This resort is top notch.. great food, awesome pools, great rooms, great restaurants ..and the staff was amazing :)

Great all inclusive Hotel

Pros: Food was wonderful very clean
Cons: maybe a little more activity at night time. Nothing crazy but just something to do in the evening times
Location: there is an outdoor mall across the street- golf course within 15 mins. bus stop was in walking distance and would take you downtown for $1
everything about this Hotel was wonderful. There was not really any night life but it was clean and relaxing. Staff was GREAT!!

Best vacation ever!

This place goes WAY above and beyond to give evey guest the best vacation possible. I can't say enough good things about Valerie and her staff. No wonder they have so many returning guests. Now I see why.

Fabulous hotel

This was my third trip to this hotel. It was the best yet! They've added so many extras to make it an even better experience. The food was incredible. The beach service was a plus. Alexis, our server, was the best!

Beach was beautiful

Really is top 4 resort. The best hands down. The staff are so attentive. The rooms are all nice and with beautiful views. The spa is amazing.

Food poisoning

Arrived about 1:30 and room wasn't ready yet , no big deal not supposed to be until 3:00. Checked in and went to buffet for lunch. Not bad , nothing spectacular, but all tasted fine. When we finished lunch are room was ready and we went up. We had an ocean view and it was nicer than expected. After checking out the pool a few hours we showered and went down to dinner. We no sooner were seated when my wife hurriedly excused her self and ran to the bathroom to get sick. We went back to the room and after 4 full hours of vomiting and dry heaves called down to find out if the hotel had a Dr. They placed a call connecting us to a Dr. who thankfully drove to the hotel, examined her, said that she ingested something, gave her a shot and made a separate run to a pharmacy. Three prescriptions and $289 later all was well, except for the too bad for you attitude of Walter the hotel manager. We fully understandthat things can happen anywhere and didn't expect them to pay the Dr. bill. However we did feel that it was reasonable that they reimburse us in hotel comps. Cabanas, massage, whatever. But rather than that they have us a cabana for 1 day AND had the gaul to charge us 26 pesos for the outgoing call that they made to the Dr. So between making you violently ill and the lack of customer service there is no chance we would recommend this resort to anyone.

Thank you for taking the time to share your recent experience at Live Aqua Cancun, which contributes greatly to our improvement. After having thoroughly investigated the matter with all the concerned department heads and Executive Chef, I have come to learn that we do not have any other similar report of food poisoning concerning our guests within the duration of your stay, and according to the doctors diagnose, this illnes could not have been caused by the Resort as food poisoning normally takes around 24 - 48 hrs of inccubation to manifest. At Live Aqua Cancun we have a food safety management system and our staff is trained on food safety practices, that I will be monitoring very closely in order to ensure that each standard is being met. I do apologize for how this was handled, and if it dampened your impression of our service. Since you mentioned that the doctors visit had prevented you from renting a cabana, it truly was our best intention to imrove your experience and provide you with something you would enjoy. Once again, I apologize if our intentions were misinterpreted and caused a negative impression. I remain at your service, Alfredo Santamaria General Manager
