Wonderful time at Live Aqua

Beautiful atomsphere and wonderful service, staff truly courteous. Pool bar fun with friendly, attentive service and good music. Most restaurants good especially MB. After dinner dance music at Egos. Relaxing experience at spa. Also great shopping mall directly across the street.

We picked Live Aqua Cancun to stay at for our honeymoon. The staff was nice and helpful. All of the food was yummy.

Most beautiful resort ever

Pros: The staff is the best I've ever experienced in my years of travel
Cons: Not a thing
Location: In the middle of everything including a luxury mall across the street!
From the time you enter the resort you never want to leave! You get a welcome drink and massage then you have so many choices to dine it's hard to choose. The food at all the restaurants were amazing, all of it. Whether it was ordered off the menu offered or the buffets. The rooms are fantastic and we upgraded to a suite and that was really special because with it you get a cabana daily and a 20minute foot massage on the beach. I highly suggest upgrading! I almost forgot, you'll also have access to the VIP area where there's a full bar, non-alcoholic drinks, food and views that are a must see. I would stay here again and again.

The staff was very kind they make you feel very special when ya go to this hotel look for Hansel he was very helpful and very nice I will stay at this hotel again can wait for my next vacation.

Pros: Food, drinks, location and staff.
Location: Good location, malls were in walking distance.
The food and drinks were exception. The staff made us feel like we were family, especially Byron. The malls were right across the street from the hotel.

Nice, but nothing special

Pros: Staff was friendly. Hotel was clean. Cabanas (for a price) were comfortable. Servers on beach were nice, but understaffed.
Cons: Sanitation, entertainment, music in pool area, activities on beach and at pool, water volleyball, beach volleyball, etc.
Location: Location was good. There is mall across the street but it is high-end shopping, mostly.
This hotel was nice, but for the price, it was just okay. I've stayed in cheaper resorts that were just as nice or even nicer. Food was good for the most part, except maybe the buffet. Just a lot of odd food on it. Utensils are just tossed back on top of the food for everyone to handle and then toss back in the food. Other restaurants were good but had some strange food options. It always took extra time to be seated because they ask for room number and then verify the name on record and then have to write name and number on two papers. I've never seen this before at other resorts. What's the point of wearing bracelets? There's not any kind of grilled burgers/hot dogs, etc. to grab near the pool. You have to go in and sit down to eat. There is no hand sanitizer anywhere, except on podium at buffet. Pool with swim-up bar is at one end, more off the beaten path and opposite end of the pool restaurant. Most toilets didn't flush well. There is not much in the way of entertainment. No production companies are brought in. No singing/dancing type of shows. Just a few singers and instrument players here and there. Not much to do after dinner. It was clean and well-maintained but just boring. Also the palm trees on the beach are half dead and unless you pay $60 per day for a cabana, the chairs and umbrellas have a lot to be desired. We had upgraded to a room that included a cabana each day and were glad we did. Also, I mostly ordered margaritas and could never taste any tequila.

Not as good as last year!

This is my second year in a row visiting Live Aqua. Last year was fabulous. This year was a bit disappointing. The staff was exceptional as usual. However, the food options and quality of food definitely seemed sub par in comparison to last year. Finally, the hotel seemed a bit worn. The pool was fabulous as usual. However, we needed to switch rooms because the thermostat wasn't working and it smelled like mold. The staff did move us to another room, but there was a leak outside in the hall so there was a constant puddle in the middle of the hallway. Overall, it was still a very nice place to stay, but I have to admit, that I may go elsewhere next year.

Pros: food, the way they treat you like your not just a guest your family.
Cons: Nothing
Location: In a great place could be farther from mall lol but my wife loves it being across the street.
This was our 8 th time there again amazing staff can't do enough Valerie and Fernanda on the 5th floor are so great with check in. Everyone at the pool is the best especially Aminal he's like family one. And Carla from MB restaurant is amazing we are already booking are next trip back in October. Again thanks LiveAqua for a great Vacation

Relaxing Stay

The resort was very clean and it was pretty easy to find your way around to the restaurants and bars. If you are looking to find some much needed r & r then this is the place for you. The only thing my wife and I were disappointed in was that there was barley any nightlife or entertainment for that matter. Other resorts we've visited in Cancun had many more shows and musical performances. This is not really the place to party either but it was still an exceptional resort that we'd likely stat at again.
