Not for every one

Posted Nov 16, 2015
Pros: location, location, View of the beach, Price, Staff
Cons: Sure , a lot, read my common
Location: On the beach, walking distance to La Isla Shopping Center
If you looking for : excellent location and view of the sunrise, sunset on the beach, excellent price for a room with view of the ocean, excellent staff who will do anything to accommodate you like Luis who works in the breakfast room and Juan Carlos the bellman", walking distance to la Isla shopping center best in Cancun if you like shopping and you don't mind the comfort of a 3 or 5 star hotel then is is for you. If you looking for : comfort and to get pampered in your vacation then this is not for you. Very uncomfortable and old mattress that you can feel the coil spring in your body. Very old room towels that you can tell its not white anymore so plan to bring your own towels. Rude 2nd shift front disk person who needs to be send to a customer service classes " was not happy at all because I ask him either to change the room or at lease bring another mattress folks, the mattress coils were inside my bones". Here you have it,

Amazing Experience

Posted Oct 27, 2015
Pros: The staff was friendly and our rooms were very clean.
Cons: More drinks in the bar!
Location: The clubs were 5 mins away in bus, pharmacy, store, bank, and food were across the street.
I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this place. The staff was extremely nice and always did everything we asked. They were accommodating and treated us like family. We stayed at room 402 facing the lagoon. I loved it. The room was always clean and if we needed towels or anything extra they wouldn't hesitate to bring it to us. I also had a family member visit and they gave us a day pass that included food and drinks..it was an extremely good price. They helped us book tours and gave us good information when we had questions. The most amazing moment that MIA offered was on a Friday night, they told us that they would be releasing baby sea turtles and would like to know if we wanted to help. It was such an amazing experience. Maybe there are more modern places to stay in that area but if I ever travel to Cancun again, I will definitely stay at MIA. Also....almost everything is walking distance!!!!

Perfect stay in small hotel

Posted Sep 13, 2015
First let me begin by saying the staff was excellent. For any little thing we needed, they were there. The hotel does need some Updating though. We arrived at 9am and they didn't let us in till 3pm. I've never had that happens, most hotels accommodate you. We were allowed to use the Mia Reef facilities when we Visited Isla Mujeres. It it was amazing! overall I would def go back.

Nos cambiaron de hotel respetando tarifa

Posted Aug 27, 2015

Posted Aug 24, 2015
Our check in went smoothly, However our toilet did not work. Beds were on plywood. Linens We're awful. Breakfast was poor. Air conditioning did not work. Pool and photos that were advertised were outdated by 10 years. Hotel was in poor condition and needs repairs.
