Be careful how Expedia sells you the $2500 resort credit. The resort credits amounts are based on the nights you spend.

Too far to get restaurants and lobby.

My room was far from the lobby. It took 8-9 minutes to get there on foot. And, there was no more shuttle for the Beach Palace Hotel. We wanted to look around Hotel zone, but couldn't. We satisfied everything except them.

아이들과 함께 즐기기에는 최고... 객실 침대 크기가 조금 직은것 빼고 먹고 놀고 쉬기에는 정말 최고의 호텔...내년 겨울 여행도 이곳으로 바로 결정할 정도로 만족도가 높은 호텔

Huge hotel on beautiful white sandy beach

Pros: Friendly staff, Lots of pools. Fun water slide at Nizuc. Some fantastic dining options. During hatching season this hotel releases baby sea turtles
Cons: Makeup at spa was terrible. We asked for a "natural look" and gave photo examples. We came out looking like clowns and they didn't seem to care.
Location: Rent a car and see the ruins and Akumal beach.
Stayed for 7 days for a wedding mid November. Still very windy at times and some cooler days with patches of rain. Overall the hotel was very clean, staff were extremely friendly. The hotel is made of 3 sections which takes about 5min to walk between each one. Grand is the quietest and doesn't have many food options but the pools are more peaceful and there isn't any loud music being played. When the building upgrades are finished there will be 3 new restaurants and apparently a bowling alley! Nizuc is in the middle with lots of delicious dining options and the Sunrise is the last, also delicious dining options but very loud and very busy, Our room was huge with a king bed and huge patio. Rooms were well kept and pillows and mattress were very comfortable. Sheets nice and soft. A/C was very loud and made it difficult to sleep - but room was too stuffy when it was off...

Big nice resort hotel

Pros: The overall appearance and friendly staff.
Cons: The food. There were a lot of food choices, however, was not very tasty.
Location: Close to downtown Cancun and airport.
The Moon Palace was three resorts joined together and was one of the nicest, cleanest resort rooms that I have stayed in. The resort was too big though for us, as it was time consuming to travel from one to another and the food was disappointing.

Love this resort!

Pros: The staff is so friendly and helpful and the resort is well maintained and clean. Our favorite part of the resort is all the dining options they have available. We haven't been able to find any other all-inclusive resorts anywhere with the variety and quality of food. We especially loved the made-to-order crepe stand that was open 24 hours a day. We love that the resort is set apart from the rest of Cancun and is so large, it is easy to find a place to be alone with your group if you want. It also allows for beautiful landscaping as opposed to the hotels in "downtown Cancun" that are basically high rises right on top of one another. The spa was AMAZING! We used our resort credits for a couples massage and we both thought it was the highlight of the trip! The kids area was impressive for our 4 and 1 year olds. It is nice that you can either drop them off or stay with them. The staff was so great with them.
Cons: The only thing we didn't like was the beach. Due to a reef a little ways out from shore, there are a lot of weeds and not many waves. The water is also a brown color instead of the turquoise water that Cancun is typically known for.
Location: There were a number of excursions you could go on using resort credits through the hotel. The spa was AMAZING! There was mini golf on site.

Pros: We loved everything about this hotel. You cannot go home and say you had nothing to do or see.
Cons: Nothing
Everything was awesome however had issues with first room not being correct, second room had a smell but staff had maintenance come and spray the air conditioner unit. The last day had a water leak and had to move rooms. The staff was very accommodating and very helpful with this unusual situation. Besides the room issue this is a top notch facility that I would definitely return to.
