Beautiful, relaxing hotel

Pros: The location, room, atmosphere and beauty of the hotel and grounds. I will definitely return.
Cons: Teach the check in staff that they are the MOST IMPORTANT first impression to the guests. And if they cannot be polite, change their position.
Location: We did not partake of activities outside of the hotel as we were there to relax.
Upon arrival at the Nizuc at 2:30pm, we were informed by a VERY RUDE front desk clerk, that our room would not be available until 4:00pm and were asked by her, "What do you need your room for, anyway?" Check in is at 3:00pm. We were given NO information about the hotel, nor that they actually have a hospitality room, which we found out about at CHECK OUT, that we could have utilized. We did not have an issue that the room was not ready, but we did have an issue with this awful encounter at the moment we arrived. There are staff members who show you to the room and since ours was not available, this young man, who was very polite, showed us to a restaurant that was open where we had a yummy lunch. The first evening was very disappointing as we felt "invisible" by the staff at the bar, which continued each evening, at both bars, unfortunately. I had a wonderful spa experience, although again, I was "forgotten" towards the end of the treatment as the spa was about to close, and I believe they were short staffed. My husband had a terrible experience. We did, however, explain our disappointment to the assistant manager, who upon check out, was great. She took our first lunch and my husband's spa experience off of the bill and allowed us a later check out to compensate our late arrival to our room. The restaurants were quite good, but we felt, a bit expensive. The atmosphere was fabulous; the staff wonderful, except for the girl at check in, who was never polite.

Pésimo servicio y pésima actitud del personal

El hotel está increíble, las albercas están frías, imposible meterse, la atención y servicio pésimo, hay que pedir las cosas más de 5 veces y esperar 40 minutos. La comida de los restaurantes bastante regular y muy caro. En el rango de precios de este hotel hay me haría opciones. No pienso volver

This hotel is amazing ! Everything on it is incredible! The hotel and the ubication on Nizuc bay is something else . The decorations and the pool villas are incredible. The Service and the people are the best . The restaurants and the food amazing ! I think overall is one of the most beautiful hotels in mexico

Beautiful hotel with excellent service. Stayed there twice and would stay a third time. Highly recommend!

Nice but needs already a lot of maintenance!

Probably the best hotel in Cancun (Cancun is very poor in quality hotels anyway!) but problems with the A/C, internet, TV (the whole TV network was off the night of the elections!), phone system rebooting in the middle of the night! I hope you like to walk or wait because their shuttle system inside the resort is slow! $155 without tip for a mani/pedi is most expansive I've ever seen. Not much sand (lot and of rocks) by the beach when you know that all beaches are bringing off shore sand in Cancun I don't understand why they don't bring more! positive: nice atmosphere kinda of Asian style, nice design, nice pool, people are friendly and always trying to help. I will try one of the LHW in Playa Del Carmen next time, locals told me that Playa has doubled in the past 4 years in terms of restaurants, hotels, etc. But Nizuc is worse trying and it's only 10min from the airport.

Amazing experience

Very luxurious hotel with nice staff. Rooms are wonderfull, beautiful designed with 4-5 meters ceiling. Only disadventage is you need to pay for each meal. But food was also amazing. To sum up strongly recommended.

overall i liked this hotel alot. staffs are all nice and kind. and felt such good services. i was staying at the first floor and there are so many ants at my suite. couldnt even leave any foods or drinks on the table at all time. that really bothers me but otherwise everything was all good to me and to my husband

Location: Very close to airport.
The hotel is spectular. Greatnpools, views and the service is outstanding. Larger rooms. Gym,spa- All top shelf.
