Lovely Hotel, but with out Royal Service...

Pros: Location and look, its a beautiful place.
Cons: Customer service. and the Bait and Switch of the hotel credit. The Hotel credit is a JOKE, it's $10 of here, and $20 off there, not use for one thing.
Location: Everything you might want to do, its in the middle of the hotel zone.
We stayed at this hotel in June, it is a lovely hotel with a good location, but if you are going to stay here YOU MUST BE IN ROYAL SERVICE! If you are not you will get the old rooms 10 miles from anything, no access to restaurant reservations and you will not feel special, you will lament the lack of service. Internet was very poor. DO NOT FALL for the hotel credit, it is a PATHETIC thing, you will get ripped off, they offered us $550 in hotel credit, but we were not told what it covered till we arrived. It literally covered nothing! Well it was $10 off here and $20 off there, but you can not use it for one thing. They gave us a list breakdown and boy is it bad.

It is true that the credits within the hotel are applicable promotions as a discount on services that are not included in the hotel, hence the name "resort credits" credits to occupy in the complex. In no case they are promoted by the hotel as a total credit in favor of the guest. This is a promotion for those who meet certain criteria of accommodation, but are a promotion, not a payment made. Paradise at the Paradisus

This all inclusive resort was great! There were plenty of beach & pool chairs. Restaurants were good. Reservations needed for most at night but concierge would take care of that for you. Our favorite was The Market Grill. Seafood choices were not as plentiful as I would have liked. The gelato shop was dangerous! If you want even more attention & pampering, you may want to pick Royal Service. They had their own pool & beach area with an assigned concierge & butler. Shows were ok but definitely not top notch like some other resorts. The circus was our favorite. We had a great time! Water was beautiful!

Large group, with kids. Enjoyed our stay

Pros: It's beautiful, the restaurants are amazing and cater to your need. It's huge, but you don't feel overcrowded.
Cons: I did not like the fact that when I booked for 17 people at a restaurant, they would serve us family style without option. Let us choose.
Location: I didn't care to do anything nearby.
We travelled with 17 total people, 6 rooms. The hotel was able to accommodate our request to be in building 2, as we used the kids pool and access was easy from this building. This was personally my 4th time at this hotel. ROOMS: I've stayed here often, and the rooms are great. What I would request, if you have kids, is the pull out couch that is low to ground (leather, not wood). Those were easier to setup, softer for kids and level to the ground. POOL: Well, kids pool was secluded from the bar/music side. Service was always there, pool was always clean. They had a small kids playground tucked away to the side, outside of the pool. A small cabana for kids activities that the Kids Zone participates in. RESTAURANTS: So many options, and they're all good. My favorite is the tapas. However, one complaint I had is that with our size group, they kept making us use family style. I asked them kindly not to do this, because they would not let us choose. For example, at one restaurant they chose to serve us Tandoori Chicken as the main dish, and 2 out of 17 people ate that. It was a waste of food, which I kindly expressed to them. Everyone ended up ordering their own dish instead. If you serve family style, at least make a family style menu so we can choose what we want.

Amazing hotel, unbelievable food, great staff

This is an amazing hotel. The food was out of this world. Must try Restaurants Fuego and Bana. The pools are incredible, excelent for kids. Plenty of activities for all ages.

Friendly, clean and beautiful!

Pros: Everyone really seemed there to help us have fun! We were very pampered.
Location: We used the taxi services but others were using a very inexpensive choice of the bus that went just about everywhere!
We were greeted with smiles, beauty, drinks, champagne and roses decorating our bed! The hotel was amazing. We enjoyed trying the different restaurants and trying to find our way through this huge venue! The beach areas were like sifted powder. The waves were strong while we were there but we still managed to do some swimming in the ocean. We never lacked for any service- very attentive.

Very pretty and very clean. The buffet is OUTSTANDING! A little challenging to navigate the various towers. Larger signage would be helpful.

Stayed for a destination wedding. The location and beach were nice. They were doing some renovations which will help overall. Some of the bar staff was not very friendly.

Awesome balcony privacy

Pros: The hotel is sort of old but the location is the best
Cons: I think the reselling is a bit annoying. Even in restaurants the waiter tried to sell a $7 janapaese beer to us even though it was all inclusive.
Location: Location is great if you like to walk by ocean
The vacation was great! The hotel staff try to up-sell you from the moment you check in which is not great! We through we were booked for a king size but they gave us two double on our honeymoon! The food was the best ever I had experienced in any resort! Even better than sandals!

Best resort ever!

Pros: Staff, hotel location, hotel rooms, lobby, restaurants...
Location: AquaWorld, McDonalds, Seafood restaurants all across the street (5 min. walk) At the resort: 3 pools, swim-up bar, private beach
We spent our honeymoon at Paradisus Cancun and it was amazing! The staff is so friendly and the hotel and location is beautiful. Right next to the beach, in close walking distance to AquaWorld (for fun water activities), more than 5 restaurants on the spot. We loved the Market Grill (Brazilian). We had it twice for dinner and it satisfied every time!
