Great all inclusive resort tight on beach.

Nice resort, loved the beach and the gazebos for use by the guests. The staff was very friendly and the food was great. We would definitely go back.

Pampered Stay

Pros: Compact, friendly, and fantastic beach and multiple pools with plenty of room to spread out.
Cons: With the exception of the Japanese Steak House, the food was never quite hot.
Location: We liked the fact the hotel was only about a half hour away from the airport by cab. Since we only had 5 days, we didn't explore much.
The hotel staff could not have been more accommodating and gracious. Everyone was pleasant and eager to please. The room was beautiful and they even gave us an upgrade to a suite on a higher floor with a better view at no additional charge when one became available. Wonderful treatment!

Will not be staying at sandos again.

Pros: Room was clean and was cleaned daily in a timely manner
Cons: Food was not the best, room service (except for morning coffee) was very slow and not very appetizing. Hard to get a drink, service was slow, very slow. We had to go to multiple waiters and it would take most days over an hour to get a drink while near pools or ocean.

Disappointing

Okay, so just stayed at Sandols for a quick getaway. In short, I feel as if the resort was a "wannabe resort." FOOD: The food served at the bars and delivered to the room was just horrible. I mean horrible to the point where I am not sure if my burger has real meat. That said, I will say the food at the three onsite restaurants were satisfactory however it may take over an hour to actually receive service. ALCOHOL: The drinks were watered down. You can literally take shots all day and not get a buzz. The "all inclusive" guise is nothing but a scam in my opinion. POOL: The pool appeared to be clean however it was absolutely tiny compared to the pools at other resorts. We went over and enjoyed the pool at the Marriott which was absolutely stunning to that at Sandols. NIGHTLIFE: There is only 1 club at the resort. The bartenders were very friendly but I am accustomed to resorts having several different options. BEACH: The beach was nice. No complaints. ROOM: We were given a room that overlooked an area of construction. The construction workers constantly woke us in the early morning hours with sounds of sanding and grinding. After many complaints we were finally moved to a suite overlooking the ocean. The suite was nice, so no complaints there. Personally, I would not stay at this particular resort again.

Awesome!

Pros: The beach service and pool was top notch.
Cons: The good can be a little better.
Location: The hotel was prime location. centered to everything. Parasailing, malls, and restaurants.
Room was clean, view was amazing, food was good, and the staff was excellent!

It is not worth it ;(

Room wasn't ready when we got there. We ended up getting the room at 4 o'clock... Rooms service sucks, they never brought us what we ordered. They don't have cleaning supplies available for the guests. Food is horrible, constructions every where, lots of noise... It felt like you are In downtown New York ..... ;( I defenitely do not recommend this place.

Location: Boa localização para quem quer curtir um all-inclusive. Para quem quer ir na muvuca do Coco Bongô, tem ônibus a cada 2min e o trajeto dura 5min.
Estávamos de Lua de Mel e fomos atendidos de forma impecável. No check in recebemos champagne para brindar e fomos atendidos com uma cordialidade que nunca tinha experimentado antes. Mal entramos no quarto e chegaram frutas e uma garrafa de vinho. Rosas na cama, faixa de "Lua de Mel" na porta e jantar romântico foram algumas outras surpresas que tivemos! Funcionários muito atenciosos, atendimento de primeira! Quarto super confortável, vista top, show! Espumante e todos os tipos de bebidas realmente all-inclusive, tanto na praia, na piscina, no quarto, e nos restaurantes...

Excellent hotel, super friendly & helpful staff, gorgeous scenery & beach, food was good. Some construction going on but it didn't interfere with our stay. Suggest upgrading to a balcony.

Perfect beech location in Cancun

My wife and I had a great time at Sandos Cancun. The service and clenliness was top notch. Everyone we encountered there was helpful and friendly. The location is perfect and the beach is absolutely gorgeous. Walk out and you're right there. Beach and pool service was great. Raul and Jose were awesome. The reasons for only 4 stars are as follows: The food choices are somewhat limited and the menus need some work. I mean an Italian restaurant that doesn't serve spaghetti with a marinara sause. A steakhouse that only serves 1 cut of steak (strip). Also didn't care for the pants requirement at dinner but flip flops are ok??? Not much entertainment at the resort to speak of either. I think this is because it is in the slow season in Cancun. We do however recommend the resort.

Excellent service and our group enjoy the restaurants and facilities, especially the swimming pool. The only thing I have is the Bar 2 (near the BBQ) waiter service is below average. This is not a huge concern and I would still recommend ppl about this hotel.
