My first all inclusive resort and it was fantastic. Definitely recommend to anyone. It’s two resorts in one. A huge variety of restaurants and entertainment for everyone.

Great service and amazing vibes. Stuff was very helpful and welcoming. Pool area was always fun to be in. Beach was gorgeous, white sand. All the restaurants were very tasty!!! Highly recommend to visit!

Great place, very happy with the service, the people, the restaurants etc. Only thing we thought was really bad was the charges if you need something like for example, a razor blade or sun screen. It's disgusting what they charge. I understand making money but the amount they charge for these is horrible and should NOT be allowed.

Amazing in every level. You never need to leave this property. Lots of events all day and night. Great food and other options. Local souvenir shopping can be done as they display at pool side a few times a week. And all staffs were amazing!!

Loved the resort and everyone was very friendly. Did not like that the men had to wear pants for dinner. Upon arrival, we had to sit down with staff and got a long sales pitch which I also didn't appreciate.

First time to this property. Pros - normal portion size for food and drinks. They were amazing! Service impeccable. Anything we needed (toothbrush, more towels) was delivered within 15 minutes or sooner. No reservations required for dinner. Plenty of Chairs/umbrellas on the beach with drink service. Beach was super clean and beautiful, not busy at all. Cons - small swim up pool - no ocean view. Palapas are available to rent (100 to 200 per day) on the beach but they are in the dunes with no view. No chairs available in the pool area. People take them by 7-730am ish. Must ride a golf cart to lobby, gym, and some restaurants. There are a few restaurants within walking distance to the rooms so we went there most of the time. No point in doing your hair if you take the golf carts. Lol. Lines can be long to wait for a ride.

This resort is amazing, don’t pay attention to the little bad reviews . This property is very clean, the staff is amazing, the pools and the beach are top notch. White sand, very little to no seaweed, nice water. Food could be better but isn’t bad. Would definitely recommend!

Nadia, our concierge, was so helpful and friendly! The service of this resort is above bar. We stayed in room 1008, with an infinity plunge pool and direct access to the beach. Loved watching the sun rise over the Isla Mujeres.

Rooms were clean little old Our group waa roomed in same area/ floor and all had problems with the rooms. 2 rooms noisy due to pumping room right underneath 1 room same floor but at the entrance of the building very noisy due to people coming and going while talking the doors are not well sealed Last room basement room had mold smell staff rectify by spraying air freshener ??? Finally moved us after 2 nights

We stayed at Junior suite swim out Room . There’s a mold smell. One of the staff who worked in the restaurant (Oceana) was unkind . We ordered a couple of foods together, he said it’s too much order and he said this group is tired. We had a very unhappy experience. We will never go this hotel again.

Our stay at Secrets Resort was tarnished by a lack of transportation to and from the airport, along with a three-hour sales pitch on resort packages, which felt intrusive and detracted from our relaxation time. Despite these setbacks, the facility was beautiful, and the staff provided excellent customer service. However, our room had a water leakage issue that was only temporarily addressed with towels. While the food was passable, it didn't cater well to non-alcohol drinkers. On a positive note, the resort's beach proximity, plentiful chairs, and shade options provided a pleasant beach experience.

This property was okay, but I have stayed at many other resorts and Secrets in Cancun/Playa Mujeres/ Playa de Carmen that are much better. There were some things that I really liked, but definitely room for improvement. For starters, here were the positives: 1- Beach - wide white sand, little seaweed, can go for walks along the water 2- Hot Tubs by the pools - there were 4, and all were pretty warm which was nice. 3- Portofino restaurant (italian) was excellent Here are the reasons that I will probably not come back: 1- Bars are slow, only one bartender most of the time. There is only 1 bar by the rooms that is open after the pool closes and it's a lobby-type bar that was always crowded and slow. 2- Helpfulness of staff was mediocre 3- Only one restroom was working close to the pools, and there was never soap available. There were many other minor things like this that just add up to create a mediocre feeling about the attention to detail and customer service. Overall, it's a nice resort,, and with some training on service, organization, and attention to detail, Secrets Playa Mujeres could be much better!

The property was very nice and clean, well kept. Check in was easy but not quick, was hassled about booking vip service and such. We were just wanting to check in and get to our room after a long day of traveling. The service at the restaurants was not good, service was extremely slow and the food was usually warm or even cold. Did not recommend many of the restaurants. Have had better experiences at another secrets resort.

The service and staff were overall very good. The alcohol selection and food were also pretty good. They lacked in overall entertainment. The property could use a facelift. The access to the beach is not the most convenient. Also, they did not acknowledge any VIP status with expedia at all !
