August stay

Posted Aug 26, 2015
Had a great time. We didn't like the contemporary Mexican restaurant but otherwise the food was great. Enjoyed staying at the hotel but it is too hot to go to Cancun in August.

Fantastic private hotel away from hotel zone

Posted Aug 24, 2015
Pros: The location, staff and cleanliness of the facility was just great.
Cons: Have a bank on site or be able to provide chnage for larger US dollars so that tips can be given to the staff.
First time staying at this hotel and it was great. It is located about 30 minutes from the hotel zone of Cancun and is much more private. The rooms are all very big and with full size balconies. We paid extra and got a room with a private pool and it was great. The beach area was very nice and not crowded. The hotel staff was everywhere and would get you anything that you wanted. The hotel is in a very secure area that vendors cant get to so you don't have to be worried about being harassed with people trying to sell you stuff. The food was good and drinks even better. I only saw premium liquor. Our room was stocked with 5 bottles of various liquor as well. The refrigerator was stocked with beer, juices and cokes and filled back up daily. They don't have a bank on site so take extra cash in smaller denominations for tips. I would highly recommend this hotel and will be going back next year to stay there again.

Boutique Hotel Right on the Ocean

Posted Aug 22, 2015
Pros: This hotel is incredibly relaxing and well maintained. With only a little over 100 rooms, the staff makes every guest feel like their first priority.
Cons: It would be nice if the pool with the swim up bar was adults only. I don't think it's necessary for kids to be there when there are 3 other pools.
Location: This hotel is right on the ocean and right next to the marina. You can walk across the street to charter a boat or fishing expedition. CONVENIENT!
From the minute we arrived we were met with friendly faces and awesome service. We LOVE the VIP loungers on the beach. The service there is amazing (Jose, Benjamin, and Alexander) definitely deserve a shout out. They bring cold towels for your face, drinks, food, and setup all the water activities you could want.... Paddle boarding, kayaks, catamaran, snorkeling. It's amazing. The rooms are cleaned twice a day and always well stocked with snacks and amenities. The turndown service in the evening is such a plus. You return to your room ready to rest. The spa was a blissful way to spend a late afternoon/early evening. We love the aqua viva before the treatments. It makes you feel alive, opens your pores and sets the mood for relaxation. We always really enjoy a late afternoon stop at Natura for a smoothie ("Power"...Yum) and a Strawberry/Nutella crepe. Our favorite night spot is the Lupita Lounge for a little sushi and special cocktail. That space is so beautiful and truly underutilized. The night before we left, they called and arranged a time for our luggage to be picked up. It was perfect and so easy. We think this hotel is a 10! They truly try to appease your every need. After 3 trips back, we love seeing all the familiar faces and we can't wait to return.

Beautiful room..B

Hotel furniture is too dirty it needs to be cleaned ..restaurant chairs are too dirty they need to be cleaned...curtains in restaurant and lobby dirty need to be clean ..pool bedding needs to be cleaned... the pools are only 4 feet so you can't really enjoy relaxing in them u have to squat down also the restaurant menus have a poor selection of food and one restaurant aroma they want you to have a dress code but it is not necessary because it's really just a buffet room no need to be dressed up at all especially to sit on dirty Chairs

Great Hotel. Perfect size and location

Posted Aug 19, 2015
Pros: This hotel is small in size but delivers big. Even with every room filled the beach and resturants never seemed crowded. Never a wait for anything.
Cons: Some people brought their own music to the beach and played it over speakers. That really should not be allowed.
Location: the location for us was perfect. Our plan was to spend the entire time on the resort and relax, which we did. Everything was right there fro us.
We were looking for a quiet and relaxing getaway and The Beloved delivered. 100 degree temps seemed mild with the great breeze of the gulf. Everything was simple, from airport to checking, the stay and back to airport. The beach, sand and water was perfect and uncrowded and the same can be said about the pools. The restaurants provided a nice variety of food, each with their own spin. The Spa and Workout facilities were great.

Awesome experience for R and R!

Posted Aug 18, 2015
Sara who is the manager of Aroma restaurant and Nat the waiter made my trip. I did not know that they served lobster until the last night. The waiter Nathaniel told me about one og the restaurants and noticed that I love seafood. It was the one restaurant we had not been to for dinner. He wanted go make sure our last night was perfect. When he told me El Mar served lobster I almost cried. He told me to give him a minute to talk to the manager. Sara personally delivered lobster to my room. That is customer service!!! Ophelio from the same restaurant made sure the breakfast was great every morning. The pancakes served were horrible! He would cook me a fresh batch every day and serve a special green drink that was awesome. Daily the food was great everywhere. Room service is 24 hours and housekeeping was on top of it. Daniel from customer service would check in with us to make sure our stay was perfect. Only issue I had was a nasty bathroom off the side of the pool by the isla restaurant. It was not kept clean at all. I was really disappointed to see this because the rest of the hotel smelled good and looked good. I plan to take my kids back to experience what my husband and I raved about. This will definitely be a repeat.

AMAZING!

Posted Aug 14, 2015
Pros: Food & Staff
Cons: Nothing! Trip was great but don't forget your sunblock it is really expensive at the gift shop!
This hotel was great! We did not leave the resort once! The food is excellent and the staff goes out of their way to accommodate any request you make! The rooms are spacious and the shower is SO nice! We will definitely be returning. We stayed in a Junior Suite w/ ocean view which was really nice. I liked it more than the standard Junior suite because our balcony overlooked the pool area which I enjoyed. I would recommend bringing USD to tip staff throughout your stay. 4 days w $75.00 in 1dollar bills was perfect for us. It helps with the waiters on the beach and maid service! Aroma had a great breakfast buffet and El Mar was our favorite for lunch. The queso with mushrooms and fish tostadas were delicious! We had a couples massage that was definitely worth it! Like others mentioned, it comes w a hydrotherapy services. We did that on a separate day from our massages and I would highly recommend it. So relaxing! GREAT HOTEL & even better trip!
