Fantastic stay!

Posted Dec 3, 2016
Pros: Great location, friendly staff, beautiful beach, on site convenience store, suite w/fully functional kitchen, paddle boarding, snorkeling and more...
Cons: Can't think of anything.
Location: Location was great. Easy to get to by bus. Snorkeling, paddle boarding and swimming pool on site. Shopping, places to eat and entertainment close by.
After much research, I decided that The Royal Cancun All Suites Resort was the place for us. I read countless reviews, saw many beautiful pictures and compared prices and amenities from dozens of hotels in Cancun. There were a number of considerations, for me, like guest satisfaction, location, amenities, aesthetics and of course price. The Royal Cancun consistently scored high marks in all of those areas. Ultimately, since we had planned excursions and I knew we were going to be all over the place...from snorkeling to Chichen Itza to the Xplor adventure park in Playa del Carmen, I looked for a resort hotel that offered everything we were looking for but without the all inclusive option. I didn't think we'd benefit much from having our meals included and that meant we could explore other dining options and be able to add to our entertainment budget. The Royal Cancun Resort lived up to it's reputation. It was absolutely beautiful. The grounds were expertly manicured. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The resort itself is quiet and relaxing. The staff was polite, attentive and quick with a smile. They were also very helpful whenever we asked for advice or recommendations. Overall, it's the perfect destination for a family or couple... We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend!

Hotel-Villas excelente.

Posted Dec 3, 2016
Pros: Todo alberca, playa, villas, lobby................es un gran hotel-villas.
Cons: La comida, definitivamente.
Location: Isla mujeres, coco bongo, congo, dady'o

Nice hotel by the beach.

Great experience. Once at the hotel, you have access to several other hotels of the chain, including very nice restaurants. Alcoholic beverages are not watery as in other all-inclusive places.

Could be better

Posted Nov 29, 2016
We didn't like having to pay to use the gym, so we didn't, especially after they didn't believe that our daughter was 18. Nobody went out of their way to make our stay special. The resorts we've been to in Cozumel were much better in that regard. La Palapa offered a better-than-average buffet. However, after spending almost a week trying to make reservations at La Trattoria, we gave up and ate at Casa Tequila instead. That turned out to be a great choice for us, as they had vegan options on the menu.

terrible service and room noise

Posted Nov 24, 2016
Pros: Suite size but don't like the noisy fact.....
Cons: We need 50% refund for the noisy staying at this hotel and also bites from bedbugs.
The room were very noisy so we went to front desk the second day to ask change the room and were told that expedia got this type of room otherwise we had to pay over $200 additional for the rest of 3 nights. We already paid $188 average a night and they wanted more. We were bite by bedbugs and went to talk to them about it. A supervisor did change the room with and noisy one and insist those were mosquito bites. Please see photos about those bites.

Very nice hotel close to shopping and dining too.

Posted Nov 22, 2016
Pros: Everything
Very clean, employees are super friendly with everybody, the food is great, their pools are super clean and very well maintained, close to shopping and the transportation is great, you can take the bus at the front of the hotel and for $10 Mexican pesos will take across all the hotel zone and to many shopping places, we stay on this place fro the last 5 years, we had tried other places and nothing like the royal resorts

Staff was great and we were as close as we could be to the beach. The area was a bit windy and the Pariot party boat passed in front of our balcony every night. It is decorated nicely with lights and lively music. The kids loved watching it go by and I'm sure we're hoping they were on it. Over all, we enjoyed our stay and would visit again. A special mention for Rafael the person who checked us in, he was extra special.
