Quiet south end hotel in Isla Cancun

Pros: The quiet, relaxed pool, and choice of restaurants, only one block approx. from the bus route.
Cons: Potable water in the hotel's system, although we were provided with ample bottled water daily, and the ice machine worked fine down the hall for us!
Location: Calm stretch of beach close by, to the south in front of Club Med, and the bus is close at hand and cheap
We were a bit hesitant to stay here, as they were about to undergo a renovation. The remodel will go on most of this year, but, only in selected areas, there will be pool areas open, and we were relieved for that. The staff are very friendly, concierge Adrian is outstanding, and helped us with making reservations both in hotel and off site. The beach sand is pumice, and cool in the day heat. Quiet at night air conditioning worked great, nice bedding, we found our overall stay quite acceptable.

This hotel is a beautiful basic oceanfront resort. It's not extravagant it's basic but nice enough. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. The breakfast buffet is amazing very good ($20 usd Value not included unless otherwise specified) Although you are closer to the airport in the hotel zone can or bus service is available I would def visit this hotel again and recommend to family

Horrible experience

Our stay at the Westin was a complete horrible experience, up on arrival the staff were not able to accommodate our needs and their responses were always negative. The facilities and amenities were in very bad condition making our stay very uncomfortable. The food was ok however the price was somewhat elevated. In conclusion l would advise any one to deter from arranging any acomodaticios at the Westin unless you want your vacation to be ruined!!!!

So far everything ok. Hotel was in renovation so probably will get better. Nice beach.
