Nice hotel and place, bought the essential privileges. My only negative comment is the heavy selling for you to buy staying at the other properties owned by AMResorts and the spa amenities. I paid for a vacation not a captive audience to be sold to

The hotel overall was very nice in terms of the grounds and facility. The food was very good too and they accommodated allergy requests. The food could be better but I'm a tough judge. If you want authentic basic tacos go to Tonicho's FYI. Basically I would stay there again, I've been to many all inclusive and this is at the top of the list. Some things to look out for- the hotel will nickel and dime you a little bit in terms of local information pertaining to money. No matter what they say exchange your money for pesos, it is always cheaper for you! For instance they exchanged at 15.5 pesos on the dollar at zoetry and told us that it is better because other places will only give you as low as 10 pesos. I tested this and found I got a minimum of 16 pesos p/dollar, but mostly 17-18 actually in most cases. They also charge $90 US for a 24hr golf cart including a $10 taxi trip. You can get one for $50 if you go yourself and then pay for your taxi separate. But back to my point pay for everything in pesos and get your money exchanged at your local bank or at least a local bank on the island. Also there were some issues with the shower( not all jets worked properly, was never fixed) and the hot tub on our balcony had dirty water that was never cleaned. Fyi don't get any grand ideas about the pick up on the "yacht" it's nice enough but it is not a yacht like you may be expecting. They were also late both ways so plan for that if you have tight plans. Tip your waiters, enjoy!

Paradise Found!

Pros: The staff was amazing!
Cons: The AC in my room could be a little better, but my Dad's was working perfectly.
Location: A tour of Isla Contoy was wonderful!
The moment we landed at the airport we experienced VIP service. The drive, the yacht ride with champagne (Leonardo & the captain are fantastic), the tour of the room & facility. They planned activities, provided 24 hour room service, and overall just spoiled us rotten the entire time. The rooms are lovely, clean and opulent without being obnoxious. Jose, Eligio, Irving, Ivan, each person who helped us out, was pleasant, charming and attentive. You didn't feel like you had to tip each time but felt compelled because they were so AMAZING. The shop in the lobby has fair prices and not pushy like some other shops in town. Unlike most all-inclusive, the Food is wonderful and unique. I admit breakfast was my favorite (I recommend the "Poblano Mole"). The quality of the food is wonderful. Although it's not a buffet (which I think is good) you can just keep the food coming with a 7 course dinner, plus a whole menu of delicious desserts. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a true paradise vacation. I'd also take the Isla Contoy trip they offer.

Phenomenal Hotel Experience!

From the moment I arrived till the moment I left everything was fantasic. Definitely will come back no questions asked. The food is incredible, the service / staff are sincerely nice and welcoming. I'm a mild mannered individual so the enthusiasm that the staff had for my requests such as meals and information, was greatly appreciated.

Wonderful luxurious hotel with character

Awesome 7 day experience. Did not want to leave hotel to do tourist activities. Attentive staff,ocean view rooms, plenty of choices for food and beverages. Secluded beach. Enjoyed company of other hotel guests

Location: 大きくない島なので、ゴルフカートを借りて一周できます。島は景色のいいところも多く、みどころもたくさんあります。
部屋もきれいで快適に過ごすことができました。部屋を出ると専用ジャグジー、プール、専用のビーチがあります。スタッフの対応、ホテル内にあるレストランもとてもよかったです。

not worth the money asked

Bad - Cheap furniture, jacuzzi didn't work, had two ask few times before getting any help from stuff - which was incompetent and misleading most of the time. Food is decent, but if you are healthy vegetarian you stay half hungry or eat same oily vegges or pasta. Spa is a joke - done facial and massage - the specialists not well trained Good - hotels is small and quiet. Overall- there is an effort to make an excellent service, however they fail

relaxing stay

Pros: Overall with 35 rooms, this is an excellent place to not feel crowded, wherever you are in the resort. Pools, Lobby, bars, restaurants had seating
Cons: gym, cleanliness of hot tub
Location: everything is nearby since Isla is a small island. Playa Norte, Pointe Sur and the "downtown" were fun. dolphin discovery is next door but we avoid
Staff was friendly and attentive and spoke English. Meals were excellent. In Casa Rolandi, breakfast service was a little questionable, with servers frequently forgetting parts of our meal order. Dinner in both CS and the Le Metissage gourmet restaurant were always tasty and memorable. The beach is very small but wasn't a huge detractor. The waters adjacent to beach were rich with vegetation rather than a sandy bottom. The three pools were not crowded and pleasant.
