Left chocolates in my room for Expedia VIP which was wonderful. The room was large and beautiful. Also a fantastic view.

Great location and room but...

I feel like the pool area is dingy and dirty as well as the weight room/exercise space was cluttered, dirty and in need of a refurbishing ASAP. That is my only complaint otherwise the Blackstone is great!

Beautiful lodge

Staff were pleasant and able to check us in early when we told them we were coming from out of town for a wedding. Clean rooms, nice view, and an overall cozy atmosphere.

Very comfortable

Pros: Very quiet location. Clean and comfortable.
Cons: A few more dishes and utensils in the kitchen.
Location: It's near downtown Canmore which we love to visit. Good restaurants and shopping.
My wife and I stayed here on our way home for just one night. The stay was very nice and the room was comfortable. We were upgraded to a top floor suite with mountain view through our Expedia points. We would stay here again.

This place has it all, very satisfied. Suite is clean and comfortable, has everything you need. Pool and hot tub was awesome. View is amazing! Staff very friendly!

Pros: Conveniently locataed
Cons: Trim was coming off in the bathroom, fireplace fan squeeked
Accommodation was what we needed. Nothing fancy but clean.

We are disappointed to read about the issues within the bathroom, as we are currently in the process of updating the trim. As you noted we are located nicely as we are only 5 minutes driving into downtown Canmore and easy to access by the highway. Canmore is a great alternative to Banff as it’s only a 20 minute drive, still offers great views while being a bit quieter. We hope to see you again.

Good access to camore Friendly staff. Heated underground parking. Heated outdoor pool and Jacuzzi.

Hotel starting to show some age. Needs a bit of TLC, room smelled stale, a number of surfaces/walls marked up and/or items in need of repair. Overall - mediocre hotel in a great town, could do better elsewhere, given the many other hotel options.

Great hotel,Staff not so great!

It took over 20 min to checkin with no one else waiting as the lady at the front desk was on the phone the whole time. When getting into the elevator to go up to our room all the buttons were pushed and it was hotel staff that got off the elevator when we entered( you would expect this from a 2yr old child)! And lastly we opened up the bed sheets to go to bed and there was blood on the sheets which is not usually what you want to see otherwise the hotel itself was beautiful!
