Don’t stay here.

Poor room service, poor staff, no customer appreciation. Only thing good was the swimming pool and perhaps the shower. Customers blamed for staff mistakes.

Good place to stay with young kids

Pros: The pool for the kids. Clean.
Cons: Maintenance.
Location: Relatively well located (15-20 minutes walk from downtown Canmore).
if you have very young kids, this is the place-the pool is very nice. The room was spacious, clean, and well equipped. Nice fireplace. Nice indoor parking. Yet, we were expecting more in terms of service and facilities. The restaurant and bar were closed for the season (early November). Maintenance is also an issue. For example, the fridge was very noisy. One of the shower wasn't working and some of the kitchen cabinets were basically falling apart. Note: if your room is on the main floor, it could be noisy with the coming and going of customers. Being on the first floor, however, allows you to have rabbits right at your windows, a nice view on the Three Sisters, and to have quick access to the pool-this is great with kids.

As good as Paradise

We have enjoyed every moment of our stay at Paradise Resort Club. We are celebrating our 33rd wedding anniversary with our adult son and his girlfriend; our condo apartment has accommodated us well. On our arrival, the main bedroom was given that extra care and attention in acknowledgement of our celebrations, which was thoughtful. We requested an apartment with a balcony and a mountain view away from the hustle and bustle and that's what we got. We were invited to free BBQ and drinks on Thursday and Satuday nights, which we took advantage of once. The food was basic but the drinks and hospitality was welcoming. As was the free coffee offered each morning. We think the resort is part of a time-share but we didn't once feel 'sold' too; the facilities sell themselves. Our resort was part of two on the same property - Paradise @ Grande Rockies Resort and Sunset Resort - so we had access to the facilities of two resorts for the price of one. We couldn't get reasonably priced 2 bedroom accommodation in Banff when we were looking so ended up booking this in Canmore. We are so glad we did cause for the price it felt like a 5 star resort. Canmore itself is a beautiful location, close to Banff, and all the touristy locations. We are sad to say this is our last day. Do yourself a favor and book your family in next time you are in Canmore.

Trip to the Canadian Rockies

Pros: Convenient, spacious, comfortable.
Cons: There is no clear instructions on where to check in because the Paradise Resort Club is actually within another hotel.
Location: The hotel is located in Canmore, about 20 km from Banff, a town that most people will visit when you travel to the Canadian Rockies.
The hotel is well-maintained with covered parking available. It is quite convenient with grocery store within walkable distance. When we felt tired after a day's hiking, we can relax using the jacuzzi in-house. Our room is spacious with 2-bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, an open kitchen, a sitting room and an outdoor BBQ area. There is in-house washing and drying machines. Overall, the hotel experience is good and I would like to recommend to my friends.

Family friendly hotel

Finding the hotel lobby was tricky. But quickly friendly checkin. Room was huge, two bedrooms. Perfect for traveling with kids. Easy access to the pool. The kids loved the pool. I almost died on the water slide of death. Took my 4 year old on it, fastest waterslide ever. Shoots you out like a cannon. It was an effortless stay for us with two small kids.

Nice hitle

We loved the swimming pool! The room was spacious, lots of room for our family of 5 (we stayed in a 2 bedroom suite).

Location great, hotel not so great.

The room was ok, but the kitchen was grimy. The pool and water slide were awesome for my daughter. I found the hotel very hard to navigate and no one ever answered the phone when I called.

Noisy, too much traffic, elevator very slow

Noisy, too much traffic, elevator very slow, hot tub jets didn't work, no towels at pool, sliding door on deck fell off when opening, kitchen sink plugged, bathroom sink wouldnt drain, high-tech shower worked about 50% Way too expensive for this place, rather would have stayed at Ramada

Thank you for your comments the heated underground parking is a great feature especially during the winter season and our location is fantastic. Our property is situated in the Heart of Canmore and is very close to downtown and all of the restaurants and stores. Consequently we are also situated fairly close to the highway and if a window is open, it can get a little noisy but to be quite honest this is no comparison to any properties that are located along the rail tracks. During the busy summer season the elevators will be busier than usual. Unfortunately there is not much anyone can do about this as it’s a common problem in other facilities too. We provide personal pool towels in the rooms for your convenience and they are placed on your bed upon check in. The pool area itself doesn’t provide pool towels. We encourage our guests to contact our Front Desk immediately for any issues related to the unit as we have a maintenance team ready to fix or replace any defective equipment. Please note that our property is very competitively priced in the area and the condo style accommodation we offer comes with full kitchens and all of the conveniences of home. The cost may be a little higher but it more than makes up in other services and amenities that you don’t receive in a typical hotel room. You are also able to sleep more people comfortably in these units which works out great for families or larger groups. If you prefer hotel accommodations we can offer you this as well.
