Was most disappointed that the pool was not working during our 5 days there. We have children that wanted to use the pool and booked because of the resort having a pool. The website for the hotel listed the pool would be working during our stay but the work was delayed. When we expressed dissapointment we were finally given passes to swim at the local pool. But I was frustrated that this was not offered the first day we arrived. And it is more convenient when the pool is onsite.

Disappointment in the Rockies

Pros: Close to walking paths.
I had big hopes about making my birthday in Canmore memorable but unfortunately it was not. The room we booked was not the room that we had wanted or thought it was going to be. The room needs some serious TLC as the bathroom fixtures were falling off the walls, the pots and pans in the kitchen were still dirty from the last occupants, the floors were so dirty that our feet were black from walking around our room and the "KING" bed was very small and very uncomfortable. For this being a "Spa" resort the pool and hot tub area was very disappointing and boring. The pool was very small and nothing for kids to do. And the parking was terrible, paid guests and we had to park on the street twice due to no parking available in the underground parking. I will not be staying here again or recommending it to anyone :(

Nice place but needs maintenance

Convenient location and the pictures on the website look nice but the rooms need maintenance. The hideaway beds are awful. When we called about it they did offer a free upgrade but not until the next day which left us without a bed for a night. There was not a complete kitchen-only a couple of pots and no pans. Definitely not enough to cook a complete meal with. There was no. Tv in the master bedroom and no clock. Those were in the second room. But-the country is beautiful so that made everything ok!

Superb Location

One bedroom suite was great. Good location and amenities were ample. Highly recommend stay at this location and particularly in the Canmore area.

Don't plan on using hide-a-bed in suites

Pros: The scenery
Cons: Spend some money in order to bring it up to the standard suggested
Found that the hide-a-bed mattress was old with no cushion just springs covered. Sounded like someone above us was building furniture in their room throughout our stay. Lights were burnt out or could not find a switch to turn on. Otherwise not a bad stay!

Room condition

Carpet was grimy and dirty looking.Couch in the living room torn .The hot tub was out of service however on booking the room this was not expressed.

Fully Stocked Suite

Room was clean, comfortable, very spacious, and well appointed. All the comforts of home, including stainless steel appliances, washer/dryer, soaker tub, separate shower with body jets, leather furniture, fireplace, patio set, etc.
