Great rooms! Right off the 5.2 Vaporetta. Very helpful staff, Away from the busy crowds. The only challejnge is most of the activities are planned in San Marcos square which is a 20 minute walk or a 30 min vaporetta ride. Be sure to get the day passes for the ferry when you go here.

Fantastic hotel with a convenient location! The staff were helpful and welcoming. The rooms were clean and the bathrooms well maintained. We asked for the air-conditioning to be turned on in order to have some air flow through the room to which they obliged to do so. When extra pillows were requested they also promptly provided the extra pillows. Overall will stay again

The hotel is lovely, the staff were all very helpful friendly. The room was clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was really good with lots of choice of hot cold food. The location is great with water bus stops (including the airport water bus) a couple of minutes walk. It is very convenient for all the main attractions but is in a quieter area around 20 minutes walk away. There are nice, reasonably priced bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

After travelling all through Europe, I would say this was the nicest place we stayed at and is worthy of being a 5 star property, we stayed in the Suite with canal view and the room was very nice, would definitely stay here again

Another excellent stay at Hotel Carnival, very friendly reception staff and a special mention for Maximo the bar man . Who went above and beyond to welcome us and suggest various drinks !! The hotel is very well located in the quieter area of Venice with only a 5 min walk to shops cafes and other amenities

Very good property on the banks of one of the canals. Easy to get to from the airport (via water taxi). Staff all very friendly and welcoming. Room was spacious and comfortable. Inclusive breakfast was tasty and plentiful. Great location to walk around Venice and get to the train station to leave.

This is one of the best hotels my wife and I have stayed in. The staff is super friendly and helpful, and they speak several languages which made it pretty easy for us to communicate with them. The property is in pristine state, the rooms are super clean, ample, modern and with top furniture. The bathroom is beautiful on top of that. The views from the hotel are unique!. The food at the restaurant was the best I tried while on Italy. The capuccino I had while at the hotel was by far the best coffee I have ever tasted in my life! The hotel staff made sure that our stay was the best ever!

The only real issues were a bit of maid noise and a too modern tv that didnt list channel numbers or let you punch in a number. You had to keep scrolling. I may or not have been given the room upgrade. They said yes. It looked similar to the picture of my initial booking.

The staff was pretty nice and welcoming - front desk and restaurant. The quality and variety of the food in the breakfast was excellent. The hotel could consider leveraging more the nice area in the backyard and renovate and improve it for better guest experience.

Perfect location on canal, not crowded, and easy walk to restaurants and shops. My wife and I loved it. The staff were outstanding in every respect, especially the Front Desk team. Marco and Eduard in particular were great. We left some valuables in the room safe when we checked out. Marco immediately communicated with us, and got the valuables returned to us. Eduard helped as well. They went above and beyond in their duties, and we are most appreciative. A sincere thank you to all at Carnival Palace.

It was very easy to get to the property by waterbus taxi. The waterbus taxi stand is just several feet away. The room and bathroom was beautiful and spacious; with a canal view!! The staff was very nice and professional!

Very special room in a hotel I love. Great beds super breakfast and fabulous staff. A long way from St Mark’s but easy to catch a vaporetto or walk to the centre. I love this quiet part of Venice.

i was given a room on the ground floor that faced a street .it was very noisy and next to my room was a service room that stored black bags with garbage in them for garbage pick up thru a door right next to the windows of my room ,,,i saw the pick up happen ,the staff did not close the door so i saw the bags when i returned from dinner .NOT PLEASANT i then left the hotel for a trip and ,,i did return to the hotel a week later i complained to the staff and i was given a better room BUT i AM STILL DISAPPOINTED THAT I WAS GIVEN A ROOM NEXT TO THE GARBAGE STORAGE ROOM ,

Wonderful hotel! You will get a 5-star experience here. The staff is resourceful and friendly. The hotel has the Venice charm with modern facilities. The location is perfect. Nice, safe, and quiet with a water front view. The water buses are around the corner making it easy to get around. Nice restaurants in the area too. The room was big and very clean. Definitely a well maintained hotel. Stayed 3 nights and I highly recommend this hotel. 10/10 experience

Very pleasant stay
Lovely hotel in great location away from the hustle and bustle of the centre but within 20 min walk. Room overlooking canal was lovely although a bit noisy from the waterbuses. Breakfast limited but nice - could have had more fresh fruit.

There was extensive black mould in the bathroom, we spoke to the staff and they cleaned some of it but there was still mold all over the tiles and the shower head. The room was very nice other than this. I would not recommend staying here as the bathroom was not clean at all, especially for the price of the hotel.

Great location. A little tucked away so there isn’t too much noise but, everything is still walkable. The staff was great and the hotel looked amazing.

This hotel was great! The room was beautiful and the staff was friendly. It's right along the canal and a great quiet location.

The hotel is a 45 min water taxi ride from the airport which was good. It’s a very clean and chic place to stay. Venice is walkable, so the hotel location was great for us!
