Great Location But....

Pros: The Location: right on the beach front (OK you have to cross a main road, but traffic was light) The atmosphere was excellent and the staff good.
Cons: Give us instant hot water.
Location: Expensive fahion shops all around and a very nice beach just across the road.
I got a really good deal on the room rate plus plane ticket from Expedia, But the rate did not include Breakfast; 40 Euros. A fairly simple supper in the ordinary restaurant was equally expensive and a G&T in the bar for Eur 25. Need I say more. It took ages to get the water hot enough to shower, a good job I was not in a hurry. The Ocean view required opening the window, leaning out and looking to the right. The room was large and the bed had it's own post code. Probably could sleep a family of four plus the grandparents.

Really not impressed...

Pros: The Concierge...
Cons: The crappy part of the hotel!!
I had been to the Martinez a couple of times in the past and was very happy. However, this time..the hotel put us in the crappy part of the hotel...From the look of the rooms and the surrounding arts..you'd think you were in a 3 star!! To be honest...I would have been better off in the Clarion Suites down the road! No idea why...as it was hardly full!!

The room is big and good but the windos is not double galss you can here anything outside. Also toilet is not woking well

Overpriced and tired

I paid euro 2000 per night for a suite. On top of that I had to pay for a lounger on their beach. Fitness centre very small and poorly equipped

I have stayed here previously and now it is even better. Highly recommended to anyone who seeks comfort and luxury.

Old rooms

The location is great, but the fit out of the rooms are way too old! I wouldn't stay there again unless they do some serious renevation and overall upgrade to the rooms.

I would choose another hotel

The staff was attentive , but shower was small I had to shower in bathtub . The first room knowing that it was 3 of us was just unacceptably small. There were laud crowds of people in the lobby like it was motel 6 , nothing left of Martinez it's Hyatt!
