Great Hotel good location however the beach restaurant service was not good nor was the food. Lunch came out the first time wrong and when it came out the second time it was completely raw in side. The restaurant credited the bill however never did get lunch.

Very conveniently located hotel

We travelled by car and stayed 4 nights at this very conveniently located hotel with spaces in the underground car park avaliable for hotel guests. . It is part of a complex of shops and apartments on the Croisette, in the heart of the Cannes shopping and restaurant area. The hotel is on a side road Just across the road from the beach. We had a big room with a terrace overlooking the garden. It was like a small studio apartment. It has its own beach area.Hotel guests also have use of the facilities, including the beach, of its sister hotel the 5 star Barriere Majestic which is at the bottom of the street 2 mins walk away. This hotel is worth its 4 stars. We would stay there again.

Very well kept, staff all helpful

Free glass of champagne on arrival plus 20% voucher off the bar bill which was an added extra. Friendly and helpful staff and gave good advice. Close to the beach and only a few minutes walk from the beach and shops. There is a shopping mall attached beside the reception and cafe. Would definitely return

Perfectly Situated, clean hotel

Great experience. Reviews are consistently good for this hotel and live up to the reputation. We were simply doing overnight's in Cannes (not spending a great amount of time in the hotel) and this hotel was situated perfect for that. Our last morning at the hotel they started construction either nearby or were remodeling a room, which caused some noise issues, but overall the experience was pleasant. Would stay again for the same purpose.

Disgusting rooms

Bathtub was broken. Impossible to take a shower. Rooms had extremely old furnishing and in great need of renovation. 1 star quality.

Central hotel with some reservations

Pros: The location is PERFECT.
Cons: The air conditioning The carpeting You have to have cookies turned on in order to use the free wifi. This is unnecessary.
Location: In Cannes: Shopping and Beach In area: Grasse, Mougins, Gourdon, and any number of other small villages.
The good: The hotel is very central: on the main walking strip (rue de antibes) and 1 block from the beach. The rooms are normal sized for Europe (i.e. smaller than US standard), with a mini bar, a safe, ample closet space and a modern bathroom. Parking in the building (28 Euros per day but that's about the same price all over Cannes). The bad: I read a few reviews saying that the beach wasn't included in their rates and I didn't pay attention: if you book on Expedia (or any website apart from them directly and then only with an over priced package), the beach is NOT included. It costs twenty eight to forty per person per day! Considering their listing says they don't have a pool since they have a private beach you'd think it was included. We ended up finding a Groupon half the price with cocktails 2 beaches down (i.e. 2 minute walk or less from their beach). Breakfast in the hotel is almost thirty euros per person...go to the bakery 1 block away and you'll pay half for 2! The ugly: The air conditioning made it slightly cooler but it needs to be upgraded. We had it on full blast (with the balcony doors closed so the off sensor wasn't triggered) and it was just tolerable enough to sleep (23C/74F). The carpet was DIRTY burn marks or something. We saw another room before we received the one we stayed in and that one was a jr. suite and the carpeting was dirty there as well so bring flip flops (bathroom floor is spotless!).

Concerning the price of the breakfast, it can seem a little bit expensive, but this is a buffet with fresh and quality products.
