Our room was big and the bed was really comfortable. The decor was what I'd describe as "Hollywood glam" -- not at all the shabby chic like it looks in the photo. The bathroom was huge -- probably the biggest one I've seen in France, with a big bathtub for soaking. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The lobby and breakfast area are quite small -- the breakfast area in particular was nice but looked cramped -- it was not an enticing spot for breakfast. The hotel is easy walking distance to/from the train station, which was great. The downside of the location is that you have to cross a very busy, major intersection to walk toward the water. This was less than ideal and crossing the streets there was a bit stressful. Our room actually looked out onto a main street, but the windows blocked out all the noise. The AC also worked well which was important!! It is an easy walk down to the beach and all the cute shops. Another thing to note: the hotel has an "agreement" with a beach club to give guests a discount on beach chairs. However, be aware that the discount is only 5 euro, and it's only good for certain chairs. But, we had a GREAT time at the beach club (I think it's called C Beach). Be prepared to pay $18 for an Aperol Spritz and $8 for a Diet Coke, but it was a pretty fabulous spot to relax and live the Cannes life for a day.

Probably one of the best locations in terms of quality price average in Cannes. The place is freshly renovated in the service reception. Specially, is very welcoming. We have late at night compared to earth we have been used to in the city. It is the best location that’s ever been to. Highly recommend .

Our suite was spacious and with a view of the water. We enjoyed being a bit removed (but still easily walkable) from the Main Street. It’s worth noting that the elevator and stairs are both small (as is expected in an older building) - we weren’t disappointed but hopefully this is useful information for anyone with bikes, large luggage, or who would need assistance going to higher floors. We would recommend staying at Hotel Renoir! Great value!

Beware of false advertising!!
The description of this hotel is deceiving. There is no beach… they’ll give you a pass to some other location but it’s not close and you have to provide your own transportation. There isn’t anyone to help with suitcases and there are twelve steep steps to get to the reception desk. There were many other true four star hotels available for half the price in better locations. Very disappointed that Hotels.com allowed this listing/pictures and hotel classification. We prepaid for four days and were stuck with them. It ruined our stay in Cannes.

Everything was beyond expectations! And the price is very reasonable for a posh city like Cannes. The only negative is the elevator. It is equipped to take only one person. So if you are a family with much luggage, expect to get to your room through many segments.

Great spot in the middle of Cannes. Close to everything you want. Hotel is amazing and would definitely stay again. For those with toddlers or mobility, it has a tiny elevator in the lobby which fits 1 adult and a stroller or suitcase or two adults max. The front stairs up to the hotel, however, still need to be climbed to get to the lobby (about 12 steps) . Staff was super friendly. Highly enjoyed our time there.

Great Holiday
Fantastic 5 day visit to Cannes in Hotel Renoir. The hotel is excellent, rooms large and full of character, breakfast was very good and location to Cannes and train station is good. Only negative was that it is close to the main road and railway, but we knew that before booking, not a problem for us.

Worst experience I’ve had with a hotel to date. I travel often and have stayed in hotels all over the world and have never had an experience as negative as this. The elevator was broken upon arrival. We were offered no assistance to carry our multiple 40+ lb bags up 4 flights of a marble staircase. Not only was this taxing after a full day of travel, it was incredibly dangerous given the slickness of the marble floors. The location is also not great. I ended up checking out early and asking for a full refund. I moved to Neho suites and had a much better experience. Better service. Nicer rooms. And much better location, all for a slightly lower price than this place. Do not stay here!

Franck was amazingly helpful during our check in. We arrived very early, and he expedited the cleaning of our room so we could get in asap. While waiting, he gave us a complimentary bottle of water. Hotel is very clean and I would definitely recommend it. It is very close to both the train station and The Croisette.

Nice and stylish hotel 10 min walk from main street in Cannes. Access to beach club( extra fee)spacious rooms, friendly staff and buffet breakfast available. Definitely worth the value. I would highly recommend.

The hotel was very good and the staff was very helpful. The only thing that was not excellent was the wifi – for some inexplicable reason it switched off every single night at 12:06am and the staff had no idea as to why this happens. I recommend using the hotel's C Beach Club at the Plage de la Croisette ... the service there is superb and the food delicious.

The hotel is minutes away from the beach. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Suite was very spacious and bathroom was huge. Sitting room and bedroom were very large and nicely decorated. This hotel room felt Like a vacation home/cottage. The bedroom had a nice balcony and view. This hotel is superb.

We’ve stayed here several times over the past few years and we love this hotel! The bed is very comfortable! The bath and towels are great. The hair dryer kept overheating and turning off, but housekeeping brought another so that worked out for me. The TV’s signal wasn’t working very good so we couldn’t watch TV but that’s ok - we didn’t miss it! Small things that didn’t bother us. We will definitely be back 😁
