Penalised quote "because we booked with Expedia"

Offered as 75 year old, free breakfast, which manageress cancelled because quote ' you booked with Expedia".
.Would not give us a room over the garden quote 'because you booked with Expedia".
I pointed out that this was our sixth stay in hotel in five years but manageress insisted we have inferior street side rooms because we hadnt booked direct, and was rude when I repeated my request for garden room.
Given street room with view into town when other rooms with balcony had view to sea were empty. And the lever operating plug was broken.
Visual survey during our 7 night stay showed that most of 20 rooms over garden were empty.
I have booked with Expedia many times and have never encountered such rudeness and lack of customer service.
Non, you , the customer cannot have the room you would like, and which was available, quote " because you booked with Expedia".
