The next level 5 star experience
I had very high expectations for the Dolder and the staff exceeded such to include an amazing room upgrade from reception and and one of the beat breakfasts I've had in Saltz. I will return at least once a year from my flat in Andermatt because of the room upgrade (too much to describe, but high class and high tech including TV mirror in bath to watch from soaking tub) and the chance to dine at their 2 star michelin. Do not miss a chance to stay there when in Zurich. It is worth every penny.

Not 5 star or luxury really. Holding loud corporate party’s that kept us awake until past 1am. Thought things where better when they offered a 500$ credit but at checkout tried to renege on it and sent some poor girl out after my departure to ask for 150$. Cheap and tacky. Staff at here nice. Management seems the issue. Also note partial view can mean in my case over a carpark and half view of carpark. Little attention to details. Dirty carpets on steps. No nibbles on hen drinking cocktail. Slow service. Surly wait staff in main restaurant ( witnessed two arguments with customers and them) Very expensive and not really worth it. Disappointed. Hoped for a spa type relaxed stay. I was over the whole issue if only they didn’t try and cheap out on their apology credit at the very end. Embarrassing. Anyway. Nice, elegant, beautiful setting but not what I would expect from a hotel at over $1100 a night. Just be specific when you book about room situation and corporate affairs they are having.

This place is a must see! Beautiful grounds all around. Beautiful architecture. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful! Michellin Star Restaurant is a must! Breakfast was amazing at the Saltz Restaurant! Beautiful views from our balcony and bed!!! Overall we had an incredible experience. Would definitely recommend to friends and family!

Check in we will not acknowledged by eye contact at the line. We stayed 15 minute , it was be 1 recieptionist. After 15 minute our staying, they called the collegu. They was not tell any information about hotel. So FrontDesk 1 points. Only from fromdesk girl good working, she change our room, because the room, which took us for first, was very ugly and dirty. Housekeeping 5 points, they are hi level. Housekeeping is the best service. Spa is exelent ,especially Italian guy from spa cafe. Hi is the best employee...

The hotel is situated in a beautiful forest. For us this was the best part of our stay since we could spend time walking or cycling in the forest combined with trips to the old town, city and lake. It really offers the best of both worlds -- serene nature and a bustling city!

#1 Stay in Zurich for health & wellness. 1st Class
The Dolder Grand is THE hotel to stay at if you are seeking wellness, spa, fitness and quiet peace of mind and rejuvenation. the SPA is incredible - its the heart and soul fo the hotel. Service is 5 star easily. nothing is a nuisance and 2 full time concierge will go the distance for you. there is a pharmacy 5 minutes away doing Covid tests if u require for travel.

The only conceivable word is amazing! Perfect also may work. Every single aspect of this property, it's staff and location are ideal. Dinner at The Restaurant was one of the top 3 meals we have ever had, and we have dined our way through over 100 Michelin stars. There are beautiful properties throughout the world, and this is certainly one. What truly set it apart was the service. Every "colleague" was friendly, helpful and anticipatory. They handled issues before we knew of them and were always willing to go the extra mile. The spa was one of the finest we have ever used as well. We run out of superlatives. Truly a stay without equal. If we ever return to Zurich, we will stay no where else.

Beyond Exceptional
Our Dolder Grand experience was beyond exceptional. Our arrival felt very special, with how we were treated throughout check-in, to our brief tour around the establishment heading to our suite. While this is a pricey hotel, every penny is worth it. We stayed in the Deluxe Junior Suite which had perfect amenities and an excellent lake view. The rest of the hotel’s features were very clean and had a perfect contrast between traditional and modern. Our spa experience, including our couples massage, felt very special and, while the hotel was very busy (because of Valentine’s Day), nothing ever seemed too crowded or chaotic - all felt calm. As a whole, and I say this with my most sincere opinion, this is the best hotel I have ever stayed in. With certain, we shall be returning again very soon.
