Beautiful Property

Posted Sep 16, 2017
Amazing hotel! The staff are very welcoming and friendly. We loved the Conceirge Manager Francy & Yannelisa (not sure is her name is spelt right) Not forgetting Sergio! We absolutely loved the view from out room, tremendous view of yachts and pools. Alsol Luxury is definitely recommended by me 100% cannot wait to return!

Beautiful hotel with great staff

Posted Aug 28, 2017
Our family vacation to Punta Cana was a great experience on account of the extra care and service provided by the Al Sol Luxury Hotel staff. The restaurant options close to the hotel were limited but the hotel restaurant varied the cuisine to ensure that the overall experience was not limited by the restaurant options. The hotel was on the marina and as such there was no beach but another facility managed by the facility had a good beach and there was shuttle 3 times a day to and from the beach. The beach experience was bad on account of significant amounts of seaweed in the water.

Too expensive

Posted Aug 17, 2017
The hotel is too expensive for what it is. The rooms are very nice, but is located in a very rundown area, and not close to the beach. Also, outside it smells horrible. I was there for a wedding and the decoration was beautiful, but all an all I could have paid less for a better hotel in Punta Cana.

Dear Lauracbd, Thanks for sharing your comment and for your nice words about our hotel. Our hotel includes a free shuttle that take them to Api and Juanillo Beach located just 5 minutes away . We are a Marina resort, which is why we offer our guests the option to a shuttle to Juanillo and api Beach, for those who want a natural, more spacious, and scenic beach. Regarding to the price, this a very optional thought. However, if you visit another hotel in Punta Cana in the future, you will see why we have a lot of repetitive guests. In other words, the property and our service is very original. We hope that you give us a second chance to turn your experience around. Hope to welcome you back.

Beautiful hotel and really good staff.

Posted Aug 3, 2017
The hotel is in an exclusive area in cap cana. Every Sunday at 1:00 pm have mass in the small capilla. My favorite area is in Alsol tiara, it's close to the beach, luxury village was perfect for us because we were a group of six, the room like at aparment, kings beds and access to the pool but the problem was a AC, the manager NAPOLEON resolved, We received a letter with a cortesy dinner in the arroceria for the inconvenience. The food was good, 7 restaurants options, probably the deserts and the quality of the beef could be better. The beach JUanillo is beautiful beach white sand, calm water, but we needed to take a Alsol shutters in the hotel to get there in about 15min. The recreation staff was wonderful and the activities are good but not enough.

Amazing room at an incredible price.

Posted Jul 12, 2017
Pros: Huge Rooms
Cons: No clue.
Location: As I said before, its located at a very exclusive area by Cap Cana. Its next to the marina but a bit far from downtown Punta Cana and Bavaro.
I was working in Punta Cana and had to stay overnight. Sadly I only stayed for one night at this amazing room. It had a separate bedroom, great bathroom wtih a separate tub and shower. Also had a kitchen, dining room, living room, one balcony and another one with a view of the marina. Since I only stayed for one night, I did not visit the hotel facilities, but everything else seemed very pleasant. From what I understand, the beach is about a 5 minutes walk trough the hotel. Hoever they have a nearby pool that looked really nice. The hotel is in the Cap Cana area, so if you're going to be doing business this might not be the best option for you, since this hotel is about a 10 to 15 minutes drive from the airport area and about 30 minutes from Downtown Center where Coco Bongo is. I recommend this hotel to someone that will be able to enjoy the room and stay most of the time in the hotel.

Thanks for sharing your comment with us. Unfortunately, you only stayed in our property for a night, you did not have the chance to visit the all property and the different facilities. In the case of the transportation to town, there is a shuttle that goes everyday at 2:20pm from the hotel. We are very glad you had a great stay.

Relax Stay

Posted Jul 9, 2017
Great place to relax. It's quieter than the rest of the hotels in Punta Cana. If I have to say something negative about the hotel is that it doesn't have many activities but for me that's what I was looking for but for others this would be a deal breaker. I would go back without question the room was big and confortable my daughter loved the pool. The beach is a little far but the staff would take you there. The staff is very friendly.

Stolen iPad during our stay

Posted Jul 8, 2017
We left our room on July 4th from exactly 8:40pm to 10:40pm in which our iPad went missing. My husband and I checked everywhere, called security who came to the room and checked as well, they even checked our bags. We never took the iPad out of the room during our whole stay and we used it right before leaving the room that night. It is impossible for us to have lost it, it was stolen from our room!! They said they were checking everything and that security will handle but they didn't do enough and CAUTION: they make you sign a paper making them unaccountable for such situations. They are definitely all on the same page and wash each other's hands. Our iPad was worth more than our whole stay there!! Made me feel so unsafe to know that someone can just walk in at any time and walk out. Their response was that they did all they can do, CLEARLY NOT!

Thanks for sharing your review with us. Unfortunately, this item was not found in the property. We do provide a safety box to all of our rooms. The hotel is not responsible for anything left out of the safety deposit box. We checked everywhere in the room because this is part of the investigation. The only information missing was the screenshot of the last location where you used that you did not provide us.
