Lovely place to stay

Pros: The restaurant and its food are amazing!!! Food is awesome! Staff very friendly and helpful. Restaurant very comfy and beautifully decorated/clean.
Cons: The chair and sofa in our room were a bit grimy looking and could stand to be replaced to match the updated beauty of rest of hotel.
Location: Location is perfect. I wish we had been on water side.
My mom and I go once or twice a year. We LOVE the staff. They make our trip!!!! We laugh with them and enjoy their smiley faces and have developed a friendship with some of them. We will book again!

Quality has diminished considerably

Location: Location on the waterfront is nice. Close to downtown and entertainment, offices for business meetings.
This is supposed to be one of the best places to stay in Sydney. Suites are at least spacious, but furniture is cheap and beat up a bit. Staff had some serious trouble locating a corkscrew for room use. Had to really insist and then they found one. Was looking forward to steak in Trio - I've eaten here a couple of times in the past - but the steak itself was disappointing. Crisp salad and sautéed veggies much appreciated! Sticker Shock!!! when the bill came and a 9 oz. glass of Heavyweight Cabernet Sauvignon came in at $23. This is a premium wine and usually pricey, but this, ridiculous. The bottle retails for $29. Complementary breakfast quite shabby. No obvious staff presence. Had to hunt down staff as no plates available. Hot buffet food was depleted - last two poached eggs as hard as rocks. Parking was an extra $7.00 - really?

Dated, but clean and comfortable

The hotel common areas are nice and the bathroom seems recently reno'd, but the rest of the room is very old. The pictures online are deceiving. I would stay there again though because it was very clean and the beds were amazingly comfortable. And the breakfast was the best I've had for one included with the room price; they had eggs benedict and French toast, for example. Staff were nice. Restaurant was expensive but the salmon with roast potatoes was delicious.

Pros: Hotel is great other than whoever is doing the booking should be fired. Whats the point of a reservation if it doesnt reserve what you booked!
Cons: booking. front staff were very rude once they saw our frustration and that we booked through Expedia.
Booked a room for 2 adults and 2 children.(King with pull out couch) Confirmed by phone 2 days prior to stay and was assured there was a pull out couch. Upon arrival (with 2 cranky children and lugging all our stuff up to the top floor)we found there was no pull out couch. We went down to complain and were told there was nothing they could do they were booked up and they told us that's what you "booked".So we were frustrated and tired at this point so we just asked for a cot.Then they said it was a fire hazard for more than 2 people to stay in the one room! My booking confirmation clearly stated the room was for 4 guests. We had to leave and thankfully the people at the Comfort Inn were gracious enough to accomodate us. Waited on hold for 2 hours and 45 mins with Expedia to try and get my money back only to find out I have to wait 15 days for my refund. Cambridge blames the mistake on Expedia, and Expedia blames the mistake on the hotel. Both Expedia and the Cambridge are my go to people whenever I need to travel but after this experience I will be finding another place to book and rest my head. It seems like once Hotels find out you booked through a third party like Expedia they want nothing to do with you. It's horrible.

Convenient, comfortable, friendly, central

Everyone is super friendly. Staff at the hotel were amazing. Super accommodating and helpful. My cab driver was a dream :) . Ask for Russell.

Good breakfast, close to downtown, clean room and comfortable beds. Only complaint is that you pay extra for parking.

Very nice hotel

The front desk staff were great. The room was cozy and comfortable. The bed and shower were phenomenal! Only thing I found disappointing was the dinner in the restaurant and the server.
