I am sorry for the confusion, Judi. We did have an event that booked the front fire pits until 10pm on Friday, but the two large fire pits in the courtyard were available from dusk that evening until 10, at which point the bayside firepits were available to all guests the remainder of the evening. Both fire pit areas were available for all guests on Saturday.

Hi there, we had an incredible amount of humidity and had just come out of a heat wave during your stay. I am sorry that this created the appearance of mildew and a musty smell in your room. I assure you that this is not the norm and we are sincerely sorry that this happened. I remember speaking with you at check out. I am glad that we were able to have a conversation and that I was able to personally apologize and waive any penalties for departing early. Again, my apologies. I hope you can forgive us.

Our license for the Cabana Bar forbids outside beverages and our bartenders are happy to fill water bottles for out guests.

I am sorry for the confusion you encountered booking your room. We offer a number of different room types and it seems the pic you saw of the balcony and small dining table come with our courtyard double queen rooms and not the courtyard double room you booked. Our king rooms and suites do offer a table in the room. We hope you'll consider us on your next visit.

So many guests love our courtyard area, the large Connect 4 games as well as corn hole and the lounge areas by the firepits are always a hit with everyone. I am so happy you got to enjoy it all! East End market bagels are my favorite and I can never say no to breakfast at Liz's Café. Thanks for the review, Mary. The restaurant closed in 2019 and it's not mentioned on our website, so I am not sure why people seem to think it's closure is something new. We do have our Cabana Bar and Grill open for lunch and drinks each day.
