Pros: Location, clean, and well appointed.
Cons: No curtain in the small bathroom window.
Location: All great!!!
This is an older hotel, but it is located on the Harbor in Hyannis. Our room was nice and clean. It did have 2 small windows on the outer wall. One had curtains and the one in the bathroom didn't. It does need curtains because they are building another hotel next door and someone could see into the bathroom.

Location: Right across the street from the Hyline Ferry.
The front desk manager needs to greet, smile and be mildly personable. The person who we met needed to bathe. The entire lobby smelled like someone who hadn't bathed in weeks. She was sullen and rude. That experience and odor clouded the rest of our stay. Room was okay. Old.

Fair overall

Posted Oct 8, 2016
Pros: Great location.
Cons: The facility, other than the lobby, smelled old. The curtains in our room were in shreds and there was a punch-hole (or kick) in the bathroom door.
Location: Spanky's Clam Shack (oh yes!). And the JFK memorial trail. Lobster dinner at the Yarmouth House Restaurant in West Yarmouth. Great value.
Good location within walking distance to great things. Staff was rather rude when I request to change rooms for a room with view other than my own car. The change was made, but not with courtesy.

Not what we expected!

Posted Oct 4, 2016
Location: Location was good
When I booked this hotel I thought it looked very nice and reviews were Ok but not great. However, while other parts of hotel may have been nicer, we were placed in back of hotel facing parking lot. This part is very old and worn and not well maintained. There are shingles falling off the outside and, as a matter of fact our second floor balcony was rotted and the railing was falling off, creating what could be a dangerous situation. It seemed the other amenities such as fire pit, outdoor seating and pool were adequate and while the room was marginally clean, it was apparent that things have been patched and not well maintained. The bed was comfortable however. I got the feeling that we were given this room as a result of booking through Expedia as there were plenty of other available rooms elsewhere in the building. Would not recommend to others and would definitely not go back.

Hotel close to the ferry to Nantucket and Martha's

Posted Oct 3, 2016
Pros: The location. Close to the docks to catch the ferry. Also close to several restaurants that served very good dinners.
Cons: We were given only one bar of soap. The housekeeping staff didn't pick up on that. The desk in the lobby took care of the matter.
Location: There were small sheds that sold various types of merchandise across the street. There were restaurants, The Black Cat Tavern and Bluewater Grille
This is a large (168 rooms) handicapped accessible hotel. When We checked in, we asked to be on the first floor and they accommodated us as I have a knee problem. The room was clean as was the bathroom. It was comfortable and utilitarian. Beds were comfortable. Traffic noise from the street was discernible , but not bothersome. The ferry's whistle was loud, but expected as we were within a few hundred feet of the docks.

Great Hotel!

Posted Oct 2, 2016
Pros: Location and Cleanliness
Location: Coffee Shop & Tour boats across the road. Plenty of places to eat within walking distance.
Great location - right across from the Harbor and walking distance to lots of good places to eat and shop. The outside looked a little old, however, the inside was clean and very nice. Would definitely stay here again!

Better than expected

I was very impressed with the condition of the room, easy climate control and the bed/pillows was very comfortable. I travel for business and stay at many places. I have to say that the Hyannis Harbor Hotel has some of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on. I would highly recommend.
