Good centrally located guest house.

Pros: Location and nice room
Cons: Offer a proper breakfast and reduce the price to something more reasonable.
Location: Great for the town, near the ferry and whale watching boats, and for the Pilgrim Memorial and Museum.
The location was good, 5 minutes walk from the ferry. The room was good and recently refurbished but make sure you book an en suite bathroom. Breakfast was included in the price but minimal. It was expensive for what it was.

Location is Great

Posted Sep 17, 2015
Pros: Help with luggage and location.
Cons: Deadbolts.
Excellent location. Nice and clean. If you are going to spend any time in the room, choose a larger room than we did. The rooms need deadbolts as it is hard to tell when they are logged from the inside.

well-located house on Commercial Street

Posted Aug 18, 2015
Pros: Location, friendly staff, cranberry muffins.
Cons: I am not sure it is possible to change the shared bathroom situation, but it is a significant negative.
Location is almost too good, so parking is a couple blocks away in a public lot with a discount for Lotus guests. Loading at the hotel is a bit difficult. Staff is very friendly. Breakfast on the back deck is fine. Room was small, and lacking any view, with a bathroom down the hall shared by 3 rooms, and accessible by only person at a time. Would only recommend to people who have no problems with a shared bathroom--others should only reserve rooms with bath.

Pros: Center of town.
Cons: Put a chair in the room! Not an ottoman.
Small room. No coffee or any food provided like review for hotel stated for the morning. Lots and lots of stairs to get to rooms....did I say lots....I use a cane to walk ....should have asked for more information about room location!

Can't Say Enough...

Posted Oct 10, 2014
BEAUTIFUL, COZY PLACE: comfortable beds, fireplaces, a balcony on the main stretch, and a quiet little garden retreat in back. WONDERFUL STAFF: Julie is all heart and Rich totally has the pulse of the place. Every recommendation or suggestion was spot on! You can tell these folks love their job and their town. RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF EVERYTHING: where the town wharf meets Commercial Street... Location! Location! Location! Trust these people to take care of you. We spent our honeymoon with them and they made us feel like bazillion dollars. We will always remember their kindness and hospitality. Can't say enough...
