Very old and tired.Posted Aug 24, 2015
Buffet breakfast had the worst scrambled eggs (must have been powdered eggs) I have ever tasted in my life. Army food in the 50's was far superior to their breakfast. Coffee, orange juice, and fresh fruit were decent. The rest was not good at all.

Great faimly friendly hotel!Posted Aug 24, 2015 on Hotels
A great hotel/motel with 2 pools, a full breakfast included (though it doesn't change much from day to day) that is clean and within easy distance of several decent Falmouth beaches and the downtown area. IF you are looking for a high-end hotel this is not the place for you, but if you want a decent, clean, budget and family friendly place that gives you easy access to multiple different things to do with kids this is a great place. I suppose it would work well for a couple that wanted to hit the night life of Falmouth and maybe take the ferry over to the very close Vineyard by day as well. We have stayed there twice now with our kids who are 11 & 8 now and both times it was a hit with them. They love being able to swim indoors and out as well as walk down to the beach and downtown strip. I highly recommend the hotel as a great option for a family!

Although this hotel is in an excellent location the rooms are not as desirable. The bathroom was very small and not so clean. The room itself had a very damp odor to it. But perhaps the most annoying thing is the lack of electrical outlets. There were two power strips plugged into one another that were behind the mini fridge and the dresser. It was very difficult to get to them in order to use a hairdryer. Why are you drying your hair in the room you ask? Well there was no outlet in the bathroom. Not only was it difficult to get to the outlet.... I just think plugging into two power strips is dangerous. I have stayed here before and wanted to give it another chance, but I am not sure if I am willing to do that again. Too bad because it is in walking distance of many great attractions.

Really loved the outdoor pool and the spacious property. We were able to sit outside in the gazebo and play ball with my kids.

Quiet and convenient getawayPosted Aug 8, 2015 on Hotels
Shoreway Acres was very peaceful and comfortable; a nice place to spend a few days even if you have to complete some work. The facilities are pleasantly dated Cape/Plantation white houses on level, grassy, shady grounds attended by three patrolling wild turkeys. Our bed was way too soft, but the accommodations were otherwise quiet and comfortable. Main St. Falmouth is one block away; Woods Hole is accessible by $1 trolley. Staff is super nice and happy.

Good hotel for the $. Staff very friendly & helpful. Room we stayed in was in a separate older building & smelled a bit musty but clean and nothing we couldn't deal with. Location is excellent & within walking distance to downtown & ferry.

Nice stay at the ShorewayPosted Jul 31, 2015 on Hotels
From check in to check out every staff members we're friendly and helpful. This hotel is only steps away from Main Street and minutes away from the beach. Rooms are very spacious with comfortable beds, which were nice after a long day. Definitely worth the price and I would stay at this place again.
