The best inn I have ever stayed in!Posted Oct 5, 2015
Location: Right off of RT 6
We stayed in the Benson suite and had a wonderful time. it was a beautiful room with 1.5 bathrooms. We had a living room/ changing room and a very comfortable king size bed. The breakfast was to die for and we loved the fall snacks. We also got engaged there so it was a very special place that we will return

Room temperature controlPosted Jun 25, 2015
The Inn is lovely. Everything was really good except for the temperature in our room. A sweater or fleece was needed at night outside, but the uncontrollable A/C was blasting in our room. They said if it was too cold in our room, to open the windows! Colder outside! The room itself was beautiful, but they do need to address the climate control issue to make it comfortable to be in your room.

A Great Place to Stay - we will come here again.Posted Jun 17, 2015 on Hotels
This place was perfect for a weekend getaway to Cape Cod. The Inn is a restored building from the early 20th century and great attention was paid to architectural and decorating details inside and out, all tasteful and not overdone. The Inn is quiet and cozy with a very relaxed atmosphere. The staff are polite and helpful. The continental breakfast had juice, coffee, pastries, fruit (all fresh) as well as standard cereal, bread and bagels. There were quiet little nooks and tables to sit at on the main floor and rooms with comfortable couches. The staff leave out fresh cookies and coffee in the afternoon as well as the makings for Some Mores if you want to make a fire in the outdoor fire pit in the evening (they provide wood, matches and fire starters). They provide a bike rack in the backyard for you to stow your bikes. It's also very close to the Cape Cod Bike Trail. The only quibbles were with the air conditioning, which cannot be adjusted in individual rooms because of the age of the house. There is also traffic noise from Route 6, but that's unavoidable for any place to stay along the main road on the Cape.

Half way up Cape CodPosted Oct 29, 2014
As with most New England Inns there is a warm welcome. There were home baked cookies when we arrived and breakfast was good. We were in the attic room which was small but comfortable, somewhere to sleep rather then relax. Only real drawback is that, although you get a private bathroom it is not en-suite. There are a variety of places to eat nearby though most need a car (or enthusiasm to walk) to get there.

Lovely Inn, comfortable stayPosted Oct 26, 2014
Pros: The sweet smell of ookies baking everyday. Beautiful old house, very roomy.. Very friendly staff, lots of information of surrounding area
Cons: Door knobs latch with dead bolt key locks require two hands to open which can be tricky with hands full.
Location: Convenient location to beach,Fort Hill hiking trails. Just down the road from Wellspring Massage with excellent massage therapist Carl Freeman
Beautiful old Inn. Cookies baking and served everyday. Hot cider, 24 hour access to fridge and a full fruit bowl. Bathroom is private and locked but down the hall. This Inn is quaint and comfortable with some quirks expected in an old house. Over all a very lovely stay
