Nice, wonderful view of Provincetown and ocean

Two night stay in spacious room overlooking the Cape and ocean. Curious staff with plentiful Continental breakfast. Clean hotel with many artworks of the area and it's history.

Wonderful Location of Hotel

Posted Sep 30, 2015
Pros: Location, parking and views.
Cons: The entire Main Lobby and the rooms that were in the same condition as the one I had.
Location: Beach, pool, bike rentals and proximity to shops, restaurants.
The location of this hotel was wonderful. The views of the beach were outstanding as was the availability of parking and the proximity to the shops. The hotel is in dire need of updating and cleaning and painting. The room we had and booked through expedia was cramped and the bed was uncomfortable. Disappointing.

Quiet location with beautiful view of the harbor.

Pros: Very quaint and the location of the morning breakfast was exceptional.
Cons: Some basic repairs are needed throughout the facility. Also-desk clerks seemed unaware of things going on, not only in town, but at this location!
We arrived just in time to see the Tennessee Williams play "The Parade" performed on the beach. What an amazing setting and great production! Back in the hotel for the early bird dinner special. Delightful afternoon/evening.

Location and View - The best!

Posted Sep 23, 2015
Pros: Location and very pleasant staff. Great continental breakfast.
Cons: Rooms a bit worn but still clean and comfortable.
Location: It's P-town. If your bored it's your problem!!
Location and view makes up for any shortcomings of room amenities.

Great Location

Pros: location, view
Convenient, clean, modest room, but comfortable. Bed was VERY comfortable, everything smelled fresh, which is not easy when the room is steps from the water. Will return soon!

Location - nothing else

Posted Sep 6, 2015
Pros: The exterior landscaping is very pretty and the complimentary breakfast was a plus.
Cons: Total renovation to bring this tired establishment into the present.
Location: Ocean location is amazing.
This establishment is totally dependent on it's location to fill it's rooms. For the extremely expensive, mandatory two night minimum stay, guests should be offered rooms of a bit more quality and comfort. Our stay was Friday to Sunday and housekeeping never once entered our room to make the beds or replenish linens. The air conditioning unit barely kept the humidity out of the room and did little to keep the rooms musty odor at bay. Paint was peeling from more than one wall, mold was embedded around both the bathtub and sink. The decor throughout the rooms and common areas have not been updated for decades.

Comfy Stay

Posted Sep 5, 2015
Pros: Location, views are outstanding
Cons: The decor is outdated, it needs updating big time. Also, better internet, always going down
Location: The Red Inn is update the Street, as is Herring Cover and Commercial Street
The Provincetown Inn sits on stunning views of the water, convenient to Herring Cove Beach and Center of Town. The hotel needs some updating with decor, it is tired and dated. The rooms are clean, beds comfortable, bathroom showers are small(too small and internet kept going down. The free breakfast was not good at all, so I would head to town, which I did on my second night. For the price, location, I would come back, because it is not bad, could be better with updating. Also, highly recommend the Red Inn up the street for Dinner, outstanding.
