Pros: The staff and the properly presented food items
Cons: Nothing. You cant expand a room
Location:
The room was very clean and well appointed. The staff was responsive and efficient. Servings throughout the day were fresh and nicely presented. We both had eggs Benedict as a breakfast choice and they were done perfectly. I hate overdone eggs. Now for the bad. We had room 27. The room was probable the smallest in the inn. It was on the third floor and required 34 steps to reach. I am 69 years old and have a knee and hip problem. It was no fun. There is no Wi-Fi in the room because it is so far from the router. I had to go into the hallway to get a signal. Would I recommend the inn. Actually, yes. Just not room 27

No breakfast ??? Hard Beds

Posted Aug 18, 2015
You would think that B&B would offer a high quality breakfast. Instead of a limited choice of two . I have have had a better breakfast from a three star motel on the road then here. Bed was very hard with felt like bed springs poking through the mattress. If you are looking for a two star hotel at a very high cost go there.

You'll never want to leave!

Posted Aug 5, 2015
Pros: EVERYTHING!!
Cons: Nothing I can think of
Location: Everything is near by, the beach, restaurants, arcades, horse and buggy rides, and best of all the sound of the ocean!!
Angel by the Sea is a unique B&B experience- From the time we checked in until the time we left we could not have asked for anything more. The staff was so helpful, free bikes, chairs, towels, and umbrellas for the beach. The beach is less than 50 yards from the Angel. There is outdoor seating outside every room, so you can relax ,read a paper, have a glass of wine . The breakfast was delicious also. All of the restaurants, bars and arcades are within walking distance, very family oriented. We had a blast and did not want to leave!!

Hotel with Character

Posted Aug 3, 2015
Pros: The staff and the character and cleanliness of the hotel
Cons: I enjoyed the experience
Location: Near the beach and a short walk from many restaurants, shops and the boardwalk
Very nice hotel kept very much in keeping with the Victorian theme. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The meals were very good and we had easy access to bikes, chairs, and beach towels. The staff was very pleasant and helpful which made for an enjoyable stay.

Quiet location close to the beach

This property has a lot of character. You do have a walk into town but we enjoyed the walk. The free bikes were great and had fun riding into town.

Bed & Breakfast

Posted Jun 15, 2015
Pros: Clean, reasonable rate and close to the beach!
Cons: nothing at this time.
Location: Location to the beach is excellent. Having access to bikes was a good idea.
My wife and I stayed there as it was our 5th wedding anniversary. We were married in Cape May on the beach and decided to return for our 5th. The location was perfect as we had dinner in restaurants in town and is in close proximity to the beach. The room was done up very nicely for the time era of the building. The breakfast served in the morning was very good.

Historic B&B

Posted May 19, 2015 on Hotels
I loved the history of the place and I loved the hotel. It's an old building (originally build in 1850 and moved 3 times) that has been been restored with much effort but anyone staying needs to understand it is an old building. For me and my wife that was part of the charm. I will definetly return.

Classic Cape May Victorian

Posted May 18, 2015
Pros: Full breakfast along w/continental - 2 entrees offered. Free bike rentals, beach towels & chairs. Small vintage tub w/great hot water & pressure!
Cons: Room 11 could use room darkening shades. Mattress a little too hard for our taste. Both sides of bed needed a night table.
Location: Beach, biking, shopping, restaurants, light house, Sunset Beach, Audubon Center
Pleasant before-season getaway - no crowds! Classic Victorian B&B located on the more northern end of Beach Avenue, about a block or two to the promenade, a 15-25 minute walk into the heart of town. B&B on the beach block, but if you want a view, you must request and is more $. Staff helpful and nice - can also get vouchers for some restaurants in town. Our room was on the 2nd floor - If you can't do steps, either request a room on the ground floor or go somewhere else. Room was quite small, but clean. No in-room phone. Afternoon tea daily 4-5:30 with home baked treats and wine and cheese 5:30-7pm (don't expect any classic vintages, tho). Evening turn-down service was an unexpected and nice amenity.

Noisy neighbors

Posted Apr 27, 2015
Great B&B. Met very interesting people. Nice beach nearby. Only problem was noisy neighbors around midnight.
