After the hotels.com reservation I was called saying there was an issue with my credit card. I was rebooked and the hotel.com reservation was cancelled. Same price, no more reward nights... And odd, they didn't ask for my credit card, so it was good. I guess they pay a premium for booking through online sites, and they wanted out of it. Plus I was given a twin bed for my wife and I with a baby, when the original reservation was with a king bed. That was taken care of with me calling again after the direct booking. The room was dated a bit, the mattress was clearely overdue for a new one and the AC unit was noisy as hell. Overall, not a very relaxing stay.
