Lovely stay
I had a wonderful stay at this lovely hotel located in an attractive part of the city with many restaurants, and close to shopping areas. The workers at the hotel were friendly and helpful. I will stay again here next time I come back to Cape Town.

The staff of this hotel are its biggest asset, friend, courteous, polite and very helpful, they should be commended by the owner. I have stayed in many hotels around the world but rarely do you ever get the treatment as you do at this hotel. I would also be amiss if I did not mention the breakfasts, they were so fresh, and the cooked breakfast, hot and so tasty, we would definitely stay again.

This is such a wonderful hotel!. A true home away from home. It was my first trip to Cape Town , as a solo traveler, naturally I was apprehensive but at Cape Heritage Hotel, I felt like I was staying with my family. The property itself is a beautiful historical building, well preserved but also renovated to provide modern comforts. From the front desk staff to the house keepers, everyone made sure I had a very comfortable stay. Special shout out to Ndombi who cleaned my room daily, supplies always fully stocked. The concierge kindly provided great recommendations when I was looking for particular items/gifts to buy. The manager always made sure I had what I needed. Overall their professionalism and warmth was simply amazing. I have stayed in many hotels around the world, including the 5 stars ones but Cape Heritage was by leaps and bounds the best!. The rooms are of good size and very clean, the bathrooms immaculate (which is something I am particular about), there is even a bathtub with special soaps where I took many relaxing baths after long days of exploring Cape Town. The hotel is also centrally and conveniently located to many attractions. Great view of Table Mountain, walking distance to Long Street and Bo Kaap is a short Uber ride away. I was so impressed with this hotel and will always stay there every time I visit Cape Town

A wonderful property with great history and a social purpose. Located in down-town Cape Town, it is surrounded by excellent restaurants. They serve a wonderful communal breakfast. Staff are simply lovely.

Clean, charming boutique hotel. Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms/bathrooms are huge. Mattresses are comfortable with fluffy pillows and down comforters. Breakfast, which is included and consists of a cold buffet and made-to-order hot dish, is delicious. Five min walk to Bo Kapp and 5-10 min taxi to the waterfront, beaches,Table Mountain, and Lion's Head. Pub and Mexican restaurant next to the hotel. Across street is a French bistro, Italian, and Grub & Vine, which is considered one of the best restaurants in CT. Had a mediocre lunch at pub (Jerry's). Didn't eat at others as we went to the waterfront every night. The negatives. We were there in winter, and since building is old, room was drafty and cold. The heater helped, but takes a while to heat up such a big room, and if you run it non-stop, it gets too warm. Building is only two stories, so rooms are close to the ground. Our room was in back facing a parking lot. Multiple mornings around 6, I was awakened by people talking back there. I imagine rooms over the street would be even noisier. The housekeepers also talked loudly outside our door, which woke me up two mornings. Downtown location is a little seedy, and I heard/read is unsafe to walk around at night (going across street would be fine). This is easily remedied by taking Uber everywhere. If you want a charming hotel at a reasonable price, are a sound sleeper, and don't need lots of amenities, Cape Heritage is a great place.

I really like the property and the style of the hotel and the rooms with all the natural art. The staff are absolutely amazing. Everyone was nice and checking in and checking out was very easy. I only have 1 concern and that is the lock on the door to the room does not close well. But all in all I would definitely come back again.

Perfect hotel in the center of Cape Town
We had an incredible stay at the Cape Heritage Hotel in Cape Town. The hotel is located in fantastic central location in downtown. Bars and restaurants located within heritage square. Parking available across the street. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. Our room was amazing, large and comfortable with great street views. Comfortable beds and furniture. Nice amenities with lots of small personal touches. Fast and reliable internet. The breakfast was fantastic. I definitely recommend staying at this hotel for anyone staying in Cape Town. I'll be staying here again on my next trip to Cape Town.

We had a most pleasant stay at the Cape Heritage Hotel. The building and rooms are charming, the location is very convenient and centrally located, the rooms are clean and most comfortable and the staff are friendly and helpful. A big shout out to TJ who made our stay very happy! One negative is that because the hotel is located on a square with a lot of bars and restaurants around one can hear the noise from the rooms. Not very loud but ideally windows should be double glazed. Having said that I had no problem sleeping (and I am a light sleeper). Would definitely recommend for anyone touring Central Cape Town.

Beautiful historical building away from the tourist area of the waterfront but close to fine dining, art galleries and dance clubs. Safe and walkable neighborhood.
