Cushions on bed to hard. Floors need a good sweep Could not connect tv onto netflix, youtube or any other services Loved the water that was placed in the rooms every day Room service took nearly two hours... For toasted sandwiches Saturday morning breakfast was stale. Toilet in reception area smells like smoke, bad odour and was broken

What a great hotel
What an amazing experience from check in until check out. We stayed there for 10nights. Shaukat is very polite and resolves issues with ease. The chef (Anwar) was extremely accommodating and spoilt my family with his lovely/delicious breakfasts. Maleka thanks for the great hospitality shown. Our security was the best you can find. What a great hotel with great and friendly staff. Will definitely stay there again.

It was okay. Served a purpose. Tv in the room was broken and they couldn't fix it so i was moved. Had to repack and move rooms. A bit painful. The shower was a bit slippery for me, so be careful! Food was excellent when I ate dinner the one night at the hotel. A bit pricey, but okay. Also I like to put bills on my room and they wouldn't;t let me do that.

Ideal location. Staff are very polite and accommodating and always greet you with warmth and kindness. Convenient. Halaal dining options. Prayer rooms and qibla directions available. Ample places to eat in walking distance and very close to other places such as waterfront. Convenient parking and I felt very safe there.

My recent stay with you did not meet my expectations at all, I was surprised and disappointed to find out upon arrival that the hotel is HALAL!! As a guest I should have been informed about this prior booking. Additional the room was dirty, phone did not work and the bathroom was absolutely horrendous. Very poorly weathered. Breakfast buffe was very slobby and variety was poor.

Not a 4 star hotel!! Avoid!
Take time before booking this hotel to decide whether it really is for you for not. As a traveller from the UK this is not a 4 star hotel it is a 2 at best. I booked for 3 nights and left early to book somewhere else as I wanted to get out. The rooms smelt of smoke, there was no sheet on the bed, only 1 hard pillow was provided. The hotel overall was tired and outdated, If you were a solo traveller I wouldn’t feel comfortable staying there alone.

On my initial booking I read that the hotel provides free shuttles to the shopping malls unfortunately this wasn’t the case .. hotel staff said that the facilities got canceled during covid .. this wasn’t updated on internet

Great business stay
Lovely large room, laptop safe, plenty of cupboard space for business stay. Lots of hot water but very narrow shower (looks like a bath conversion) which was awkward. No mattress protector which was odd. Breakfast was ample and varied. Staff were friendly and professional. Hotel is well appointed and brilliantly positioned across the road from the CTICC.

OK to stay, but don't expect to much
While clean, with friendly staff, the comfort was not optimum: The pillows were hard, and the aircon blew across the bed, and froze one ear. Avoid eating in for dinner - the food was cold, unimaginative and expensive. There's many restaurants within 10 minutes walk with good food and cheaper. The daily rates make this an OK stay. I might do it again, with the caveats above. (Bring your own pillow, don't eat in.)

The capetonian hotel
Overall a very pleasant stay. Its near the V and A waterfront and bus routes. However, I would recommend that they replace carpets with tiles and replace the tub with a corner shower.

Convenient, cost-effective business stay
This hotel is certainly convenient for functions in and around the CTICC which was perfect. The hotel could do with an upgrade as there are some minor repairs needed that become apparent when staying more than one evening. But, overall, I would stay here again.

The hotel is great however not having a pool is not ideal. The shuttle to the V&A no longer operates and is very disappointing. No spa on the property either.

I was very disappointed. The lack of attention to detail was evident in this hotel. We were booked into a room on the 10th floor. It had a beautiful view of the mountain, but the windows couldn't open as they were welded closed and there was glue residue around the edges. It spoilt the beautiful view the room had to offer. The grout in the shower was moldy and I was not sure I wanted to get into that shower. We asked to be moved to a room with a balcony or where the windows were open. We were moved to a 2nd-floor room which was better, but we found a few cockroaches in our bathroom and I saw a large one at the lifts. Breakfast was very mediocre. Despite all this, the staff were very friendly and accommodating.

The is really experience was great. However the windows didn’t open so there was no ventilation in the room. The aircon unit buttons were missing so was not usable at all. The bathroom door didn’t close at all and I found a cockroach in the room. Although the service was good and breakfast was amazing.
