What a disappointmentPosted Jan 23, 2012 on Hotels
This was the last place we stayed on our holiday and it was by far the worst. The owners were more interested in hanging out with you having drinks than actually running the place. It does not live up to the photos they use to advertise it. Everywhere else we stayed in South Africa was incredible as the owners could not do enough for you, but not this place. We actually had to ask the owners to keep it down when they were keeping us awake at 1am. If they want to run a hostel that's fine but they should advertise as one. We stayed in a hostel when we first arrived in Cape Town and wish we had gone back to it as it was nicer than this place. I will be returning to Cape Town in the future but never again will I stay here. How they can charge what they do and feel as if they deliver value for money is beyond me. DO NOT STAY HERE IT IS AWFUL!

Guest house near BlauwbergPosted Jan 2, 2012 on Hotels
We stayed at this guest house because it´s close to our friend´s place so we dont have to travel too far back after a late dinner. It´s quite nice in general. Only 2 negative points 1. the shower head is so old that it hurt to take a shower and the water just sprayed at different directions back your back! 2. I don´t like cats, they have one cat that is constantly in house house walking towards us while having breakfast. One last thing is that the tv in the "cosy" room is still from the 80s, small box and bad reception, but we were so tired so that didnt bother us so much...
