Well positioned hotel for exploring Cape Town as you can walk to the V&A, Sea Point and other areas. Clifton and Camps Bay easy taxi ride away. Small hotel but good sized rooms in 4 different buildings surrounding a pool with super comfy loungers! Breakfast great and includes cereals, pastries, fruit, ...
I stayed in this hotel as it is very close to UCT campus, where I had meetings, but it would be equally suitable (and ideal perhaps) for a couple visiting Cape Town. Taxis/Ubers are cheap to get into downtown Cape Town. It is in a safe and friendly part of the city, and also close to the botanical ...
Lovely boutique hotel right in the heart of Stellenbosch. Staff were very helpful, nothing was too much for them. Breakfast was excellent. Room was pretty and functional however fairly small. It was quiet st all times.
The boutique hotel was beautiful. The have a really nice cafe on the street level that is open to public and we were very surprised to see that our stay included breakfast from the cage everyday. We basically went to the cafe, told them what room we were staying at and got amazing breakfast for the ...
The historic buildings of this hotel are amazing and classical, but have been upgraded with all the modern luxury's one could want. Super friendly staff! We will be staying again.
Super friendly hotel staff, a beautiful boutique hotel with an indoor swimming pool, steam room and sauna, and one of the best spas. The hotel is located in an upscale, peaceful neighborhood just about 2.5 miles (4.5 km) from the center of Stellenbosch.
The hotel was tucked away on a quiet street. The staff were all very helpful and breakfasts were good. We could walk to the Victoria and Albert waterfront, about 15 minutes.
Just absolutely splendid. Great hospitality and friendly and engaging service with genuine smiley faces. Special thanks to Lee and Hannah.
My first visit to Cape Town and it definitely won’t be my last. I was lucky enough to come by this lovely boutique hotel in an exclusive area of the city. It was convenient for my purposes and the staff were welcoming and helpful throughout my stay.
We used this hotel as our base to get to Kirstenbach, Table Mountain, Boulders Beach, and other things in the southern cape. We felt like we were living in the lap of luxury. Very quiet rooms and beautiful grounds. Breakfast is great. A bit of a drive to get to downtown Cape Town. No elevators.
Beautiful boutique hotel, well located. We received excellent service and found it very convenient to have the Cadogan schedule a private peninsula and a day tour of the wineries. The scheduling was seamless because they are connected to the hotel and the guides were excellent.
Emmy was exceptional from the minute we got to the hotel until we left. Nothing was too much trouble. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean with fresh decor. Afternoon tea was provided free of charge and the breakfast was excellent.
It's a comfortable and reasonably-priced hotel. Breakfast is included and quite good. The staff is friendly. Our only issue, and it's a minor one, is that the wifi was spotty. However this is a problem we ran into throughout the city. On the whole, we would definitely stay here again.
Freddie and the team at The Glen were superb at making our stay totally relaxed and enjoyable. Thank you guys.
