Room was large, comfortable and clean. A hotel where it was possible and safe to open windows rather than rely on air conditioning. Staff were pleasant and helpful. In addition to a shower, there was a large bath tub in the bathroom. Location was excellent as there were supermarkets, shops and restaurants ...
Lovely boutique hotel right in the heart of Stellenbosch. Staff were very helpful, nothing was too much for them. Breakfast was excellent. Room was pretty and functional however fairly small. It was quiet st all times.
Beautiful hotel with very caring staff right across the street from one of the most beautiful beaches we’ve ever seen. We came back one day late in the afternoon exhausted from a day of hiking Table Mountain and said we were going to watch a movie and relax for a bit. The staff brought us popcorn ...
The hotel was tucked away on a quiet street. The staff were all very helpful and breakfasts were good. We could walk to the Victoria and Albert waterfront, about 15 minutes.
Super friendly hotel staff, a beautiful boutique hotel with an indoor swimming pool, steam room and sauna, and one of the best spas. The hotel is located in an upscale, peaceful neighborhood just about 2.5 miles (4.5 km) from the center of Stellenbosch.
A real find - well placed for sightseeing, the beachfront and no problems with walking back from local restaurants ( all excellent around the lighthouse area) at night. Staff very engaging and helpful
We spent two nights in a room with a balcony and spectacular views of the bay and mountains. The staff were excellent and although the room wasn't modern it was very comfortable. Excellent restaurants within two minutes walk.
The boutique hotel was beautiful. The have a really nice cafe on the street level that is open to public and we were very surprised to see that our stay included breakfast from the cage everyday. We basically went to the cafe, told them what room we were staying at and got amazing breakfast for the ...
I stayed in this hotel as it is very close to UCT campus, where I had meetings, but it would be equally suitable (and ideal perhaps) for a couple visiting Cape Town. Taxis/Ubers are cheap to get into downtown Cape Town. It is in a safe and friendly part of the city, and also close to the botanical ...
Amazing boutique hotel. Beautifully decorated and appointed with outstanding views in all directions. The service was impeccable. Staff was extremely attentive, friendly, and gracious. Front office staff recommended and arranged tours and dinner reservations. Drivers provided transportation for all ...
It's a comfortable and reasonably-priced hotel. Breakfast is included and quite good. The staff is friendly. Our only issue, and it's a minor one, is that the wifi was spotty. However this is a problem we ran into throughout the city. On the whole, we would definitely stay here again.
I booked this hotel on a whim on Expedia and having never stayed in a boutique hotel before I was a little nervous. However hand on heart it is one of the best places I have stayed. The room was comfortable and had many small touches - mobile phone with pre loaded numbers to take out, iPad for use ...
We used this hotel as our base to get to Kirstenbach, Table Mountain, Boulders Beach, and other things in the southern cape. We felt like we were living in the lap of luxury. Very quiet rooms and beautiful grounds. Breakfast is great. A bit of a drive to get to downtown Cape Town. No elevators.
Emmy was exceptional from the minute we got to the hotel until we left. Nothing was too much trouble. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean with fresh decor. Afternoon tea was provided free of charge and the breakfast was excellent.
Excellent guesthouse in a quiet and safe area close to City Bowl. Car parking on the street, but still easy and safe.
Highly recommend the hotel. Service was excellent. The hotel is very centrally located and the ground are beautiful. The hotel car drove us to our lunch venue and to our hike at mount Rochelle nature park...all complimentary. Wonderful breakfast, and a great 8 course tasting menu at The Tasting ...
Moved here from Longstreet backpackers as unhappy with stay there. Clean and quiet. Close to market and restaurants. Staff very helpful and allowed us to check in early.
