We arrived later than there check in time and were met and made very welcome. All 3 staff where very helpful with local knowledge and weather affects on your day, [both Robben Island and the cable car are affected by the wind] which they informed their guests on daily and was very useful. They currently have water issues due to the water shortage and they are managing these well.
But we felt that house number 14 was very tired in its furniture and lack of storage space and we were surprised re its high rating of 9+ as we didn't feel it rated that compared to our other accommodations on our trip.. Although it was clean and the bed was comfy.
To me the local area was great, but for some people it might be a little way from the action. That is why I liked it. Yet I was able to walk to most areas in 20-40 minutes!
