Great old buildingPosted Oct 5, 2015
Pros: The antiques, the art work, but most of all the staff.
Cons: Better soundproofing around the windows.
Location: It's right in the heart of the old city, within walking distance of V&A and Long Street. Easy access to Table Mountain. All you need is right there.
We had a very large bedroom with a four poster bed and a view of Table Mountain. Even though we were in a very old building, the bathroom was newly refurbished with modern fittings and was very comfortable. We loved all the staff and felt like we were leaving friends when we departed. I think next time we come back we'll try to avoid the weekends because it tends to get a bit noisy out on the street in the evenings. Weekdays it was perfect, though. I loved this hotel and would stay here again.

Great hotel in lively neighborhoodPosted Sep 10, 2015
Pros: The staff and the décor.
Cons: It is a lively neighborhood and so some nights were noisy.
Location: It is in a central neighborhood in Cape Town and is close to many things tourists are apt to want to do and has many great bars and restaurants.
The staff were very kind and went out of their way to help us every day. The rooms are very comfortable and each has its own design.

Lovely boutique hotel with lots of soulPosted Aug 2, 2015
Cape Heritage a lovely hotel with fantastic staff who could not have been more friendly or helpful. The breakfasts were delicious and an event in themselves! The hotel is also close to a number of great restaurants around Heritage Square, within 5 minutes walking distance of the old city town centre and a 50 Rand taxi drive to the Waterfront. I loved Cape Town and staying at this hotel was really part of the whole holiday.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Cape Heritage Hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the rooms adorable, and the location was adjacent to some of the best restaurants in the city. No need to stay anywhere else!

Beautiful boutique hotel, the room was fantastic as was all the staff. Breakfast was lovely also. It has a bunch of great restaurants right on their doorstep and is close to shopping in the city, and car hire places.

Great non-V&A location!Posted May 29, 2015 on Hotels
This is a beautiful hotel in a historical building. The decor is traditional with modern twists and conveniences and the staff are incredibly welcoming and helpful. There are restaurants connected to the hotel and plenty of cafes shops nearby. Recommended for those looking for a more authentic experience in Cape Town although the V&A Waterfront is only a 10 minute taxi ride away for more restaurant and shopping options.
