Beautiful view

Posted May 24, 2016
Pros: Everything!
Location: Next to Planetarium, S.A museum and Company 's Gardens. You can pick up the tourist bus across the road which will take you all around the city.
Everything about this hotel is excellent. Friendly and helpful staff, beautifully clean rooms and a wonderful view of Table Mountain...what more could you want? Comprehensive choice for breakfast and we were also pleased with the evening meal we had in the restaurant ( free bottle of good wine) . Another thing we loved was it's location near to Company's Gardens, the Planetarium and Art Gallery.

Hi there Thank you for you review on your recent stay with us. We really appreciate the positive comments and are so glad that you loved our location as much as we do! We have recently renovated the entire hotel and the last thing to do on the bucket list is to install completely new elevators. This is the biggest investment of all - as elevators are very obviously expensive - but also because ours had to be made from scratch. One of the two is almost 100% completed and Otis will begin the replacement of the second lift soon. This is a lengthy process but one we know our guests will appreciate as your and our staff's safety is of the utmost importance. All work stops in the afternoon/evening/morning so to not disturb our guests but we are so sorry if we inconvenienced you in any way. Hopefully when you return you will be one of the first to press the shiny new elevator buttons! All the best and keep well, Jess and the Hollow Team

Pros: Location, staff and the restaurant.
Cons: No frigobar on the room, laundry service didn't follow instructions to dry wash and one shirt got discolored.
Location: Just in front of Company's Garden, go see the squirrels!
Good hotel, rooms facing lion head are a little small, but the very helpful staff and cleanliness compensate!

Dear Maria Thank you so much for taking the time to review your recent stay with us. The corner room you were in was actually one of the few standard rooms with a view. 80% of these over-look the pool area instead. We have also found that these rooms are also the quietest of all. When you return I will gladly book you a Mountain Facing room instead (one that over looks Table Mountain) and you can decide which room you prefer :) You are also more than welcome to request a mini fridge in your room - we do have a few available on a first come first served basis. I will also investigate with the laundry team. I am so glad that you enjoyed our restaurant as well as our location. The squirrels across the road are adorable aren't they?! :) I will let our team know that you loved their helpfulness, thank you. We look forward to welcome you to Cape Town Hollow Boutique Hotel when next you travel to Cape Town.

Perfect city hotel

Posted Apr 3, 2016
I was there for a total of 9 days with my daughter. This hotel has the perfect location, walking distance from a lot of city sights & Long street. Right across from the beautiful company's gardens. We felt safe in this area also due to security guards being on every corner of Long street. Free wifi, clean rooms, breakfast and restaurant were ok, amazing staff from doorman to receptionist (exceptional) , housekeeping to waitresses ( very helpful with everything). I would definitely come back to this hotel & would totally recommend it to others.

Boutique Hotel in Top Lage

Posted Mar 31, 2016

Posted Mar 11, 2016

Excellent location

Posted Mar 4, 2016
This was a wonderful hotel by Company Gardens. It was close to Long Street, the market, city sightseeing buses and regular buses. The breakfast is included and has a large variety to select from. Close to tourist information and banks. The staff were wonderful, the hotel is quiet and the room was comfortable. Not much of a pool though - very small. Parking is across the street in a parade for 55 rand per day and is very secure with staff on site.
