Nice house, needs serious updating

Posted Sep 18, 2016
Pros: Mostly quiet at night.
Cons: Interior of house and furnishings needs to be updated. Need not cost the earth with some serious thought. We were there 2 years ago, nothing new.
Location: Good location. Near to lots of restaurants, shopping centres and main roads.
Towels, bedding, kitchen towels and cloths need replacing. Bed too small by most Standards and uncomfortable. Screws in wardrobe at top shelf have sharp side exposed and my husband hurt his hand on it. Old wooden slats in front of toilet, broken when we were there 2 years ago and still broken. Not user friendly and out dated. Hot water a huge health and safety hazard as almost boiling when it comes out of the tap, especially in shower. Old, old lounge suite and TV, both need replacing. This could be a very nice place with a little thought and money spent on it as everything tired and past its use by date. Asked for a comfortable chair as I have chronic back and leg pain. Owner put an old lazy boy chair in house, which was more comfortable than lounge suite and appreciated, except was covered in old dust, both fabric and under the chair, which I cleaned as well as I could.

de Keurboom Guest Cottages - real home from home

Posted Oct 14, 2013
Pros: The 3 cottages were very roomy, had good facilities and were very clean - with beds being changed daily. The small staff team were caring.
Cons: Breakfast could be made more simple - a continental with just a few fresh baked products, cereals ?
Location: The location is not central - but this is what makes it safe and secure. It is within easy reach of vineyards and trips can be booked for you.
The Manger/owner and her team helped make our stay in South Africa. The owner/manager was a font of knowledge and also ensured we had a good quality, clean and safe place to enjoy Cape Town.without any problems - making our trip a magical time.

Jeg synes det var utrolig deilig å bo da. Jeg følte meg trygt selv om jeg var ikke hjemme. De var veldig avslappende å bo et sted der mennesker var opptatt at alt var greit for meg.
