Great hotel in a stunning location. Spacious room that was very well equipped. The hotel is a couple of miles outside Franschhoek so you'll need to use the hotel's shuttle service if you want to sample the local wine. There is a charge for the shuttle. We would definitely return the this hotel

I expected more from the hotel. The bathroom wasn't a pleasure - sloped room, bump your head when you climb out of the bath...wood swollen next to bath, looks like it needs a bit of a refurb.

Beware Special DealsPosted Jul 1, 2015 on Hotels
We booked a special deal and perhaps that is why we got the upstairs bedroom in the main Hotel - It was comfortable but very noisy. Alas the Spa was fully booked so didn't' get to experience it. Hotel is lovely, could do with some pictures on the walls in the dining area and more waiters as the breakfast service was very slow. Over all a very pleasant experience. Beautifully located.

Awesome place.Posted Jun 3, 2015 on Hotels
This was a relaxation weekend away for myself and my wife, staying at the Le Franschhoek Hotel and Spa was most relaxing, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and we were greeted to a host of complimentary items in the room, beer, wine, chips and juice which was very refreshing to have. The breakfast dining was of very high quality, we made use of the Camelot Spa and was also treated to a great massage with friendly staff.I will definitely be returning here for another stint of relaxation.
