Superb

Ian and Margaret were wonderful hosts. Our lodge was spacious and equipped with everything we would need. The bed was comfortable with a choice of pillows. Shower was powerful and perfect after a day of exploring. Breakfast was lovely, a variety of fruit, cereal on offer as well as a delicious cooked breakfast. Surrounding the main house was a beautiful garden, which my parents loves walking around, prior to breakfast. The owl we spotted in the garden was gorgeous! Easy to get around and see the main sights, great location. Thanks for the chats and advice every morning and for making us feel so welcome.

The location is convenient to the Fish Hoek/Simonstown side of Cape Town and whilst some way from the sea, is located next to a nature reserve with great views across to the sea. My room was a large apartment style with a separate lounge, bedroom and bathroom and with coffee/tea facilities and a microwave. There is free on-site parking, wifi and a desk to work at although the wifi dropped out a number of times and was frustratingly slow. All in all, a very pleasant stay and especially suitable if you want a quiet, hassle-free base for your trip. One small gripe - the bed pillows were uncomfortably hard (for me).

View from the top

Wonderful view of Noordhoek beach in the distance and also Chapmans Peak from one of the highest facilities in the Capri neighborhood. The staff / owners went out of their way to accomodate all your needs.

Pros: The comfortable room, the great breakfast, the location and the helpful, welcoming innkeepers.
Cons: Nothing.
Location: Centrally located to 3 major birding locations, fairly close to the beach and Cape Point.
This was a fabulous experience. The innkeepers treat you like family and go above and beyond to make sure you know how to experience all that interests you in Cape Town. The breakfast was amble and delicious. The gardens surrounding the residence were immaculate. The property borders on a wildlife preserve so there were beautiful birds to watch. You can see the ocean in the distance from the breakfast room. Our room was well appointed and exceedingly comfortable. I recommend this bed and breakfast lodging with enthusiasm.

Off the beaten track

Lovely place, more a B & B than a hotel, but large suites with a separate sitting room, plus private outlook to the pool. Nice big pool. Staff very helpful. Very clean room, good breakfast, fabulous views to the bay. Criticisms- it's in a residential area with no restaurants within walking distance, and Makapa only do breakfast.Plumbing system a bit noisy - you know when your neighbours are up! Generally a great place to get away from it all, and only 40 minutes drive from downtown Cape Town.

Blend in with Nature

This was a great place for a night. The location and setting was beautiful. A small hut in the middle wilderness gave it a very nice appearance.
