Loved the restaurant and the staff. Property was also very nice but was loud for the days being there due to construction of solar panels etc.

Lovely boutique hotel
Lovely little boutique hotel. Great rooms, nice pool. Good location in centre of Franschhoek. Great on-site restaurant. Only downside is quite noisy. We had a road facing room next to the security hut. Very busy road and could hear the security chairs scraping and walk-in talkies very early in the morning. So suggest getting a room around the back.

The hotel is in a central location and handy for the Wine Tours and local restaurants. Very helpful staff combined with very good service. Secure car parking and an excellent pool.

This is a beautiful hotel, close to the shops and restaurants in Franschhoek. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was excellent. The swimming pool was a reasonable size. There is a secure car park. Highly recommended.

Beautiful property in a gorgeous town. It was well managed, had a great restaurant attached (that also served breakfast). Rooms were well appointed and huge as were the bathrooms. Overall no complaints, just about perfect.

The hotel was amazing and staff very helpful. only disappoinment was dinner at Hussar Grill, which is located on the property. service was unacceptable , waited almost 2 hours for main meal and no follow up from waiter. I handed in my gift voucher as payment and am yet to see the bill , really bad.

Not a hotel if you want peace and quiet!
Hotel was great, but there was a party who were obviously celebrating something so there was a considerable amount of noise (including music) around the pool area until after midnight. Complained at 11:30 pm and nothing was done... Not sure what action the hotel could have taken, but allowing this to happen spoilt it for everyone else at the hotel.

Despite the reception team and security's efforts in addressing them numerous times they simply ignored any instruction given and pretended that they did not hear the staff. They were clearly informed of how their behavior was effecting the other hotel patrons but simply remained indifferent. Our regular guests are normally respectful of the environment and one another.
