Nice hotel; convenient location

Pros: Friendly, courteous and responsive staff. Excellent buffet breakfast.
Cons: Main elevators being replaced while we stayed there - only one small elevator available. I used the stairs but my wife has difficulty walking
Location: Beach Road short distance away; lovely walks and ocean views. Numerous restaurants nearby
Overall good experience with some minor drawbacks. Recommended.

A dated hotel, carrying a big brand name.

Staff were excellent. Breakfast was standard and minimal, and after a few days, boring. Shuttle to V&A waterfront a big plus. Ambience was dull and boring despite the hotel being fully booked. Very overpriced for what was offered .

Close to Excellent restaurants

Pros: Staff, shuttle, food, rooms
Cons: nothing
Location: La Perla restaurant was great and shuttle to Waterfront allowed you to shop, drink,eat and enjoy Table Mountain views.
The staff were always helping, shuttle to and from the Waterfront was invaluable. Pool was convenient. Food was beyond belief. Venison burger was the best I have ever had.

Enjoyable stay at Radisson Blu hotel

Pros: Helpful, friendly staff. Shuttle bus services a real bonus. Location.
Cons: Some of the internal fixtures and fittings were very tired and required updating.
Location: Centrally located within Sea Point and the promenade. Close to V & A Waterfront for shopping, dinning out and going onto various day trips.
On arrival at Radisson Blu Le Vendome, Sea Point we were very impressed with the grand looking entrance and reception area. We were checked in quickly and promptly taken to our room. We were disappointed however, at the poor standard of furnishings within our room and sadly we had been allocated a room right next door to the room housing the buildings air conditioning units and boilers which had the door left open and was therefore extremely noisy. We had an unfortunate accident in our room with one of the cupboard doors which caused us to complain to the hotel reception and were dealt with very efficiently and in a friendly manner by Melissa the front of house office manager and relocated to a different room. This was completely satisfactory and included a number of extras which we hadn't originally booked but were given to us to make up for the inconvenience. The hotel staff all excelled themselves at all times when dealing with any questions or just day to day matters. The morning buffet was excellent and we enjoyed this very much. The hotel bar was very pleasant and also did some very nice cocktails. The evening meals at the hotel were excellent however most guests seemed to eat out at restaurants and this made the hotel seem almost empty and slightly lacking in atmosphere. The hotels free shuttle bus service to and from the V& A Waterfront was a real bonus and the drivers were very polite and friendly. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves at this hotel.

It is in a quite street - less noise . Good parking! The restaurants is less attractive ( horrible burgers). Rooms are clean though .

SPACEY NICE ROOM

Pros: Space of room and good staff
Cons: Elevator should change to bigger one and new .
Location: Very near to beach , you can enjoy Sun - rise and Sun set .
Very comfortable to stay . Staff are very friendly and served well
