safe, convenient location at waterfront

Pros: The buffet breakfast was excellent.
Location: Waterfront and tour buses were an easy walk.
The hotel's location made restaurants and shops within walking distance. Tour bus pickup is right around the corner.

The hotel is in a good location. You can walk five minutes to the waterfront. My hotel bathroom was clean but had a strong recently used smell when I first walked in. I wish they had aired it out before I got there. Also they gave me two twin beds instead of a queen/king then said no other rooms were ready. So I had to sit and wait for the staff to convert the beds using a raggedy looking mattress pad. It was comfortable enough but who wants that experience on vacation. For me, it would have been better to be asked to wait 10 minutes with a complementary drink then to go up to a poorly prepared room. As for the staff, it just depends on who you happen upon. Some are helpful; some are superficially pleasant just saying whatever to end the interaction without actually providing assistance.

The hotel is quite nice although special if you're used to 4 star hotels in the US. The staff were all very pleasant. The only problem was that our safe did not work and the alarm went off. While we were able to muffle it by closing the closet door it took 24 hours with four reports to get it fixed. The location is perfect!

Good location, helpful staff

Excellent location near Waterfront, extremely helpful and friendly staff, good breakfast choices. Small maintenance issues such as leaky shower door and badly positioned sink tap so you had to put on full or it splashed all over the counter. Comfortable bedding and pleasant lounge/breakfast areas.
