Great location, great food but a rundown hotel
The location is beautiful, the staff very friendly, the Azure restaurant was delicious but the property is very run down and would need a major renovation to match its price range and standing.

This is a great place to stay -close to major attractions, but in a relaxing and peaceful environment. Beautiful grounds with ocean and mountain views. Staff are helpful and friendly.

Dont think I will stay again
View is amazing. Food and restaurant experience, particularly the Leopard Bar is excellent. Hotel let’s itself down with personal guest attention in my opinion. In terms of value for money I would stay elsewhere, but visit restaurant/bar for an experience when in Cale Town.

lovely spot over looking the sea. staff really made our stay . nothing was too much trouble and they made a lovely fuss of my husband for his birthday . fantastic sushi chef in restaurant and best breakfast of our trip no beach or easy coastal walk but try the hillside paths with great view .

One of my most memorable holidays!
This stay at The Twelve Apostles exceeded all my expectations! I had three days of such bliss that I wanted to extend my stay! However, I decided to go again, another time instead. The staff are outstanding, and anticipate every need! I was even given a bottle of water on returning from a long walk. Small details matter just as much as the major ones. They are totally uplifting. My suite was absolutely superb. Definitely the best I’ve ever stayed in, but the others were excellent, too! As a single traveller, I was not overlooked, and was made to feel as special as any other guest. Even on departing, the red carpet treatment continued, and I was touched and appreciative. All I can say is THANKS TO EVERY MEMBER of the staff!

Management and coordination is very poor. Everything shall be asked 3 times and nothing is on time. 9 times out of 10 room service order was twice (more than 1 hour 15 minutes) later than promised.

Sundowner setting "to die for".
Excellent in every aspect other than the Spa which was average. Great location, superb staff and 1st class facilities. Azure (main restaurant) offers varied menu and 5 star dining experience. Leopard Bar has lovely vibe and views to match - perfect venue for a sundowner. Our mountain view room was small but beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable. Spa layout great but therapists lacked any real enthusiasm and technique.

Stayed there for 4 days post my conference on Cape Town , everything was just perfect , very friendly staff ,only downside for me was an indoor pool / steam room otherwise everything else was excellent .

1st room bad, 2nd room great
Views from common areas are gorgeous but the first room we were given was tiny, the view was of the backyard wall and it was near housecleaning closet so lot of traffic. Not what I expected for $450/night. Second night they upgraded us for free to a suite and that was much better. Suite was great and would give the suite 5 stars but not room 106.
