Boutique hotel in a perfect location

Posted Oct 10, 2016
A perfect little B&B, very design, with breath-taking views of the bay. Very friendly and attentive staff, delicious food (you need to book dinner in advance) and a courtesy bar 24/7. A bonus: you can walk for 10 minutes and see the pinguins without the crowds. Well worth it! Same goes for visiting the Cape ahead of the crowds (its entrance is within a quarter of an hour of a scenic drive). Ask for Steven as your guide for a perfect tour of the park.

Awesome view and excellent service

Posted Mar 10, 2016
We had a room with sea view. The view is gorgeous and the staff are very helpful and willing to help you at any time. The hotel is located at a 5 minutes car ride to the center of the town and 2 minutes to the Penguin park. You will need to get a car to get around. The food and service were excellent.

Perfect place for exploring the cape peninsula

Posted Feb 16, 2016
Pros: The location for us was ideal for exploring the Cape Peninsuls
Cons: Nothing that comes to mind
Dominique and her staff could not have been more helpful and the view from our balcony over the bay was perfect. The hotel is beautifully furnished and the honesty bar in the lounge is a nice touch

Comfortable hotel with beautiful scenery

Posted Dec 13, 2015
Whale View Manor Guesthouse is a great place to stay if you're looking for a quiet getaway in Simon's Town. Sweeping views of the ocean are visible from the hotel balcony, and can be fully enjoyed while nibbling on breakfast each morning. The hotel is also a short walk from Boulders Beach, and reaching the nearby penguin colony doesn't take long by foot.

Pros: What a beautiful guest house this is, views from my room were breathtaking and breakfast was delicious!
Location: Very close to Boulders Beach where you can go to meet a colony of African penguins, adorable! A short drive from Cape Point too which is sensational!
Lovely, friendly staff. Secure car park and great facilities.

Boutique hotel in excellent location

Posted Nov 8, 2015
Pros: Tastefully decorated, staff great, really enjoyed the breakfasts.
Cons: Perhaps a daily paper
Location: Penguin beach, seal watching boat trips, shark cage diving. Boat trips. Cape Town 45 mins away.
The hotel is opposite a lovely beach. We had a sea view room and could hear the waves breaking while falling asleep. The staff and management were great, breakfast was tastefully presented and tasted wonderful. There were lovely areas to relax and enjoy the views through the day and a tastefully decorated lounge to relax in the evenings. The area had a good variety of restaurants, plus you can eat at the hotel, but you need to pre book. The walk along the coast to see the penguins at boulders beach is worth doing. There is lots going on at the harbour and you have a good choice of tours. The tourist information was worth visiting for ideas.

Beyond expectations

Wow! What an amazing place. It's a mini paradise. Wonderfully decorated. Every member of staff we came into contact with could not have been more helpful and friendly. Food was amazing. Could not recommend this place more, it is a little hidden gem.
