Very helpful hotel manager

I realized a day after checkout that I'd forgot my laptop charger at my room. I went back a day later and was told the room has been cleaned and the cleaners have left for the day. I thought I had lost the charger but the hotel manager went out of her way to help recheck the room and called the cleaners and facility staff to to ask around for the charger which was brought to me at the front desk. Very happy about the service.

Convenient location, near beltway and Metro.

Pros: Clean, comfortable, convenient location for Metro and beltway.
Cons: Issue getting room temperature right. Unit seemed to turn off/on all night.Not problem with facility itself, more weather-related. Shut off room unit.
Spent 3 nights there to take our daughters into DC to see the sights. Hotel is 2 blocks from Metro station (too long to walk though; $5.10 to park in surface lot was a bit of a surprise; otherwise Metro travel was great). Clean facilities, friendly staff, nice breakfast setup. Overall, we were very pleased and would return in the future.

Ran into town for two nights, staff was courteous and helpful. Room amenities were adequate for our needs.

Terrible place to stay

Pros: Nothing
Cons: The service and the hotel itself needs an overhaul.
Location: Location was close to food.
Absolutely terrible service. They put me in a room where a bathroom door had a hole punched in it. This would have been charged to my account if I had not told them about it. The entire hotel smells of smoke. The advertising is very misleading. I would rate this one star.

Hello, I am truly sorry you had a negative experience. We do have a strict non-smoking policy in place and enforce it. Guests are charged a smoking fee for deep cleaning once it is verified smoking has taken place. I certainly want to apologize if you were put into a room with a hole in the door. This would never be intentional and any room damage is taken care of immediately. Damage reports are completed and repairs finished before we would ever let a guest stay in a damaged room. My card was misused for 250.

I was charged 250 on my visa card. The Customer service was ghetto. Hotel worker wanted to come to my room. I will always speak bad about the laquinta inn. I will never stay or spend money again with the laquinta inn.

The breakfast old lady is pretty rude and made offensive comments. Other than that, everything was fine. Front desk guy was helpful.

Close to eating establishments

Overall hotel was great except the toilet ran the whole time and the handle on to turn on the shower was difficult to turn on.
